China is in the course of attempting to extend its influence and ultimately control over a a good portion of the earth.

China is financing the development of relatively weaker countries by funding improvements in the infrastructure, one-gauge railways, fast highways, power supply, iron and steel production, education, and so on.
China through its Road and Belt Project uses two major lines or belts of expansion referred to as "Silk Roads." The Silk Road Economic Belt in the north stretches through China into Central Asia, with an adjunct into Pakistan and Indian Ocean coast, In the north it continues through Russia and Northern Europe into Germany.

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is an extension to the proposed Silk Road.
Australia is also involved in this with 2 ports leased to China

Valencia in eastern Spain is to become a Free Trade Zone. Many Chinese companies are already established there.
If these projects come to complete fruition it might mean that China will become the leading economic power int he world with hands-on control of important sections of it. The USA, UK, and Western Nations would be left behind.

2. India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC).
To counter this a counter-arrangement has been created, the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC).
This links Mumbai (India) with the Persian Gulf, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel (through Haifa) to the very important port of Piraeus in Greece. Another extension through the Mediterranean goes to Sardinia (italy) and then to southern France.

The corridor is expected to boost manufacturing, food security, and supply chains. It is also expected to shrink China' sphere of influence in the process
India, the European Union, the United States, and Saudi Arabia signed a deal on 9 September to begin the formation of the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) on the sidelines of the recently concluded G20 summit. Leaders from India, Italy, France, Germany, the United States, the European Union, and Saudi Arabia have all signed the memorandum of understanding.
Meanwhile China is suffering from economic difficulties. Some countries, such as Italy, may be considering withdrawal from the Belt and Road Intiaitve (BRI),
As for the (IMEEC) it could be a success.
Israel though it has a relatively small economy is still a major player in many fields.
Because of its geographical situation and for other reasons the participation of Israel in the IMEEC may be very important.

Speculative Commentary has suggested that China through Iran may have invited the recent attack by the Arabs of Gaza against Israel.

US President Joe Biden on Thursday said he is convinced that one of the reasons why Palestinian militant outfit Hamas launched a surprise terror attack on Israel on October 7 was because of the announcement of the ambitious India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC) that was announced during the G20 Summit held in New Delhi in September this year.
"I'm convinced one of the reasons Hamas attacked when they did, and I have no proof of this, just my instinct tells me, is because of the progress we were making towards regional integration for Israel, and regional integration overall. We can't leave that work behind," the POTUS was quoted as saying by news agency PTI. This is the second time in less than a week that Biden has mentioned the IMEEC as a potential reason for the deadly surprise attack by Hamas.
