Proofs and Observations by Eric (TubalCain)
The early English considered September [the month of the Hebrew New Year and the Day of Atonement and Feast of Succoth] to be a "Hailagmonath" or "Holy Month" or "Hallowed Month".
An interesting scripture is 1 Kings 12:21-24. Rehoboam wants to take back the rebel House of Israel by force, but what does HaShem say? "this thing is from me". It was HaShem's plan to separate the two Houses all along...
My outlook is typical moderate conservative and I am pacifistic. I do not support any crimes committed by the US or British, but a balanced view of their global influence should be remembered. They both did MUCH good, My views on this issue are similar to those of Yair. I think they are the most likely fulfillment of the "Nation and Company of Nations" prophecy. Not only do they fulfill this prophecy in terms of wealth and influence, there is much evidence to show that they are likely descendants of the lost house. Strangely, almost nobody in the world is aware of this very, very important indicator of HaShem's existence and influence.
For me this present lifetime is a loss. It could be that all the information that Yair has on his website could be explained as "just coincidence" and "nothing but coincidence",but I really don't think so. Just be humble, kind, obey the commandments, and remember charity to the poor. A better world is practically guaranteed. I should point out that Isaac Asimov and Bertrand Russell were geniuses, yet they were not able to rattle off a quick proof that the British are not descended from the lost tribes of Israel! There was a man named Barron, I believe that was his name, who tried to disprove it, but, when you examine his "disproofs" carefully-they fall apart! May HaShem guide and protect you.
In Old English "meduseld" meant a "Mead Hall". "Mead" was "meodu" in Old English. It is very similar to Old Iranian (Avestan) "Madu". P. Tedesco (1921) placed Avestan in northwestern Iran (Media),although some say northeastern Iran.
Interesting story about the Nabatean coin find.
