The Eldest Sons from the Mothers of each of Jacob's wives/handmaids were the leaders in settling North America.
Brit-Am Preliminary Comment:
We do not consider Spain or Portugal to be Israelite nations. They do not fulfil enough of the Ephraimite Criteria [see Spain Tested]. Nevertheless, Israelite elements were probably present among them. Historically this seems most likely. The Celts were in the region. They may have moved mostly to the British Isles but it stands to reason that some remained. So too, the Goths whom we identify with Gad, and the Vandals (Tribe of Asher) and other groups migrated to Spain. They had migrated from the east. On their way they absorbed other groups who came to identify with them. Some historians are doubtful concerning what percentage of the original stock remained by the time they reached the west but some must of. It could be that remnants of the Israelite Tribes were still there and that they helped liberate the West from the Moslem Menace at that time. Spanish explorers and pioneers were important int he early history pf North America. It could also be that among Hispanic Groups in the USA are to be find descendants of Israelites. This may be worth looking into or at least keeping in the back of of one’s mind when dealing with related matters.

Mark McGee. Firstborn Tribes
Around AD 1700's these Western Christian Nations can be associated with the following tribes.
-Reuben firstborn of Leah. France
-Gad firstborn of Zilpah. Goths in general. But in this time period, the Visigoth Spanish/Portuguese empire was at it's apogee.
-Dan firstborn of Bilhah. Denmark/Norway
-Joseph firstborn of Rachel. England in general at this time period can be associated with all of Joseph.
-Later Manasseh the firstborn of Asenath (Son of Joseph and Grandson of Rachel). The United States of America formed around 1776-1789.
I observe that the firstborn sons take the lead when it comes to territorial claims. Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh were also granted the first territorial claims during the conquest of Israel (Joshua).
The 1700's could be considered the height of the Colonial period in North America. Four countries laid claim to nearly all the land in North America. English colonies formed a patchwork along the Atlantic seaboard.
1. Denmark and Norway variously controlled Greenland.
The very first colonization of North America was probably by Erik and Leif Erikson in Greenland and Newfoundland around AD 1000. The account of Leif and his father Erik is that they had an awareness of lands west of Iceland and sought to colonize and Christianize those areas.
This pioneering tendency of the Eriksons can also associated with the history of the Tribe of Dan. Joshua allocated to Dan a small coastal territory in the land of Israel. They lost that territory and migrated north, founding the city of Dan. Dan was associated with seafaring and navigation by boat. We find many eastern European rivers and riverside settlements with the Dan prefix. (Danube, Dnipro, Don, Dnister, Desna, Daugava) Just as the modern Danes (and Norse) are associated with seafaring.
After the Norse settlements died off, Greenland came under the de facto control of various Inuit groups, but the Danish government never forgot or relinquished the claims to Greenland that it had inherited from the Norse. When it re-established contact with Greenland in the early 17th century, Denmark asserted its sovereignty over the island. In 1721, a joint mercantile and clerical expedition led by Danish-Norwegian missionary Hans Egede was sent to Greenland, not knowing whether a Norse civilization remained there. This expedition is part of the Dano-Norwegian colonization of the Americas..,,(From Greenland - Wikipedia)
2. France settled the interior Mississippi River system from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico. France entered the continent in 1534 and through exploration and trade with the natives quickly established themselves in the interior of the continent. The French colonial experience in the new world is a great illustration of the manifestation of Reuben as predicted by Jacob in Gen 49. The French quickly took much territory, enriched themselves tremendously through trade, were unable to establish an enduring ethnic presence due to the lack of French women and instead opted to intermarry with natives. French prisoners were set free and under the condition they marry prostitutes and take them to Louisiana.
Reuben was also granted the first choice when it came to a territorial claim in Israel. They requested to settle in the South Eastern side of the Jordan river near the land of Edom. (this geographic association is notable and could be considered more in the future). They were granted permission to settle the best lands on the east of the Jordan with the tribes of Dan and Manasseh on the condition that they provide military support to their fellow tribes whenever called upon.
3. Spanish explorers (conquistadors) made settlements across the southern portion from St. Augustine Florida to San Diego California. I'd like to point out a few notable correlations between Gad and the Visigoths. Firstly, Gen 49:19 A TROOP SHALL OVER COME HIM: BUT HE SHALL OVERCOME AT THE LAST. The Visigoth tribes invaded and conquered all of the Iberian peninsula (modern Spain and Portugal) in the early 5th century. However in 711 a Muslim army invaded Gibraltar from North Africa and in maintained total control of Iberia for the following 700 years. This event namely that a troop of non-Europeans held an empire on the European continent, is unique in all of history. To my knowledge, this is the only occurrence of non-whites ruling any part of Europe. However the Visigoth peoples reestablish themselves culminating in the final expulsion of the Moors in 1492. (Jews were also expelled and
Of course, In 1776 everything changed as a new nation emerges and quickly dominates all of North America. The United States can be associated with the emergence of the Tribe of Manasseh, the firstborn son of Joseph. Waging and winning wars against England, France, and Spain. The US took much territory and strongly diminished the colonial economy and military influence of those former colonial powers.
Also the United States has maintained a strong influence on Greenland reaching all the way back to the early 1800's. The US has exerted certain levels of control of the island throughout including President Donald Trump's recent overtures to purchase Greenland outright. The US Military is perhaps the most dominant entity within Greenland today. A Danish scholar later wrote that his country's sovereignty over the island during the Cold War was fictional, with the United States holding de facto sovereignty.
