"Gaza War and Bible's Prophecies," by Alexander Zephyr
Israel –
The day of October 7, 2023 will be remembered by the Jewish nation as the most tragic event likely equivalent in comparison to the Nazi Holocaust during the WWII as one of the darkest chapters in Jewish history. In the early hours of Saturday, as the nation slept, on the eve of the happiest Jewish holiday, "Simchat Torah," a barrage of thousands of rockets rained down on Israeli towns. While the Israelis run for safety into the public and private bomb shelters, 2,500 heavily armed ruthless terrorists of Hamas and Islamic Jihad from Gaza, following by thousands "civilian" Palestinians in cars and motorcycles for the purpose to assist loot, steal, rape, slaughter, and take hostages, unexpectedly attacked Israel over the land, air, and water. The second wave of those "Civilian Arabs," the residents of Gaza, including some of them who possessed Israelite permits and were working in kibbutzim, was just as cruel as the terrorists of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. They also brutally raped women; randomly shot people they saw, burned children and adults, decapitated and dismembered parts of human victims. Those "Peaceful Civilians" definitely lost their protected status as they took active part in a vicious genocide against the Jewish people.
They rolled into many Israeli towns and kibbutzim as far as 15 miles from the Gaza border. In the same morning terrorists attacked the outdoor peaceful musical Nova Festival near the Gaza-Israel border, where 3,500 young Israelis together with many nationals from other countries were celebrating the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, slaughtering at least 260 people and also dragging women, men, and children back into Gaza as hostages and human shields. Hamas is accustomed to hiding behind civilians and shooting rockets and missiles out of schools, mosques, hospitals, children's playgrounds, and private apartments. They unleashed unimaginable acts of cruelty and animalistic, inhumane behavior. As a result of indiscriminately shooting on civilian population, raping, beheading, burning alive, cutting off body parts of living people, and torturing children, women, soldiers, and aged, they butchered more than 1400, among them 33 Americans, injured over 5,000 and took 243 hostages, which include citizens of 40 countries in addition to Israel.
It was the greatest loss of Jewish life in one day for the last 75 years since the birth of Israel.
This is being called "The Simchat Torah Massacre". When the horrible news of a barbaric, Nazi like genocidal terrorist attack from Gaza became known to the Jewish nation and its Government, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared, "Citizens of Israel, we are at war. Our history is full of tragedy and yet the God of Israel has always saved us. The Jewish state of Israel and her people will rise once again in glory. We are going to change the Middle East. The Hamas terror group will be defeated forcefully."
Are there any prophetic indications in the Holy Hebrew Bible on the current situation in the Middle East?
Part I
Fate of the Palestinians-Philistines:
There are, indeed, many prophetic insides in the Bible regarding today Israel's war with Hamas and the nations involved. Let's start with the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists. "If anyone fiercely attacks you, it will not be from Me. Whoever attacks you will fall because of you" (Isaiah 54:15). As Israel vowed, Hamas will be destroyed; IDF will avenge the blood of its people and "wreak vengeance upon His foes, and clean His people's Land" (Deuteronomy 32:43). "Kingship shall vanish from Gaza," says the prophet (Zechariah 9:5).
Israel will not go back to a world in which Hamas death squads can invade its land and butcher its people at will. The objectives of the IDF are the destruction of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad as military and political entities and freeing all the hostages. Terror groups can never again be allowed to control the Gaza Strip. The final victory over Hamas will be completed and heroic sacrifices of Jewish soldiers justified, when Israel will crush vicious cutthroat Jihadists to the point of total surrender and release all the hostages and, what is as important, retake the territory of Gaza in its own possession. For Islam, as outlined in Muhammad doctrine, based on the underlying teaching of the Koran, land captured by Muslims is never given back to infidels, even if they were the lawful owners. Muslims are obligated to fight for its "sacred territory" until victory or martyrdom, and losing it – is the utmost disgrace and defeat.
The rest of the Palestinian-Philistine population will be thrown out of Gaza somewhere to the west, possibly to Latin America. It would be preferable to settle them in one of the twenty two Islamic countries, but neither Arabs nor Muslims wish to have their brothers and sisters around. The prophecy outlines their future: "But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west..." (Isaiah 11:14). Yair Davidiy, the founder of the Brit-Am, thinks that the Philistines of Gaza will be transported by planes "to some place over the Sea to the West with humanitarian help. However, these prophecies may be fulfilled in the Messianic Time, when Judah (the Jews) and Ephraim (the Lost Ten Tribes) will be reconciled with each other" (verse 13).
"For Gaza shall be forsaken. Woe to the dwellers of the seacoast, O nation of the Cherethites, land of the Philistines: "I will destroy you, and no one will be left. And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah" (Zephaniah 2: 4-7). Israelite must destroy inhuman barbaric terrorists of Gaza and expel its belligerent "civilian" population, "a foolish nation" (Deuteronomy 32:21), out of the Holy Land according to the direction of God (Numbers 33:52-56), "And you shall take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it."
It is amazing how the Almighty God in His heavenly wisdom concludes the judgment of the Philistines:
"Because the Philistines have acted in vengeance and took revenge with malice in their hearts, and with ancient hostility sought to destroy Judah, therefore I will raise My fist of judgment against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Kerethites and utterly destroy their people who live by the seacoast. I will execute great and terrible vengeance to punish them in My wrath. Then they will know that I am the Lord" (Ezekiel 25:15-17).
This is the only solution to end the unrelenting murderous attacks from Gaza and prevent the peaceful Israelite population suffering from wicked blood-thirsty radical Jihadists. Then peace and safety will be restored in this region because the Holy Land will be cleansed of perpetual evil and ungodliness.
