The Promised Land of Israel in effect includes the area of Goshen in Egypt east of the Nile, part of Saudia, Jordan, regions in the Persian Gulf, part of Iraq, Syria, southeast Turkey and the Island of Cyprus as well as the State of Israel and all the so-called Palestinian regions.
====
This is the region that the Twelve Tribes of Israel, including the Ten Tribes and the Jews, will return unto and settle in.
This may take place in OUR TIME!
(1) Abraham was promised the Land from the River of Egypt (the Nile) to the Euphrates and all the territories of the Canaanite Peoples then dwelling therin.
Genesis 15:
18 On the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying:
To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates 19 the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, 20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, 21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
====
(2) Moses was told that the boundaries of the Land would stretch from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines (i.e. the Mediterranean), and from the Arabian Desert to the River Euphrates.
Exodus 23:
31 And I will set your bounds from the Red Sea to the Sea of Philistia, and from the desert to the River.
For I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you. 32 You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. 33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me. For if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.

(3) Moses was told (Numbers 34:1-13) what the borders of the Promised Land, that still needed to be allocated amongst the Tribes, should be. These borders were for only the nine and a half tribes (Numbers 34:13) west of the Jordan. Moses in Numbers 34 was only told the borders west of the Jordan since the Tribes of Gad, Reuben, and half-Manasseh had already received their apportionment in the east (Numbers 34:14-15).
Numbers 34:
1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 Command the children of Israel, and say to them: When you come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance, the land of Canaan to its boundaries. 3 Your southern border shall be from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom; then your southern border shall extend eastward to the end of the Salt Sea; 4 your border shall turn from the southern side of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continue to Zin, and be on the south of Kadesh Barnea; then it shall go on to Hazar Addar, and continue to Azmon; 5 the border shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the Sea.
6 As for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your western border.
7 And this shall be your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out your border line to Mount Hor; 8 from Mount Hor you shall mark out your border to the entrance of Hamath; then the direction of the border shall be toward Zedad; 9 the border shall proceed to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your northern border.
10 You shall mark out your eastern border from Hazar Enan to Shepham; 11 the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain; the border shall go down and reach to the eastern side of the Sea of Chinnereth; 12 the border shall go down along the Jordan, and it shall end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land with its surrounding boundaries.
13 Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe. 14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and the half-tribe of Manasseh has received its inheritance. 15 The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan, across from Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.

(4) Moses in Deuteronomy again commanded the Israelites to take the Mountains of the Amorites and the plains east of the Jordan, as well as the Lebanon and all the area up to the Euphrates River.
Deuteronomy 1
7 Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates. 8 See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give to them and their descendants after them.

(5) Joshua was told to take all the region east of the Jordan and the Lebanon up to the Euphrates including all the region of the Hittites. This meant northern Syria and part of Turkey. I t also mentions " to the Great Sea" and this was to include islands within the Sea such as Cyprus.
Joshua 1:
3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.

Archaeology and Historical Evidence such as place-names in the Geography of Ptolemy and other evidence shows that the tribe of Dan once ruled Cyprus and parts of southeast Turkey. Dan, Asher, Judah, and Benjamin had enclaves in northern Syria. Issachar and Zebulon were also recalled in these areas. The Geography of Ptolemy
gives evidence of Manasseh and other Israelites reaching up to the Euphrates. The Tribe of Rueben was to be found ialong the Euphrate as well as in the Nile Delta area of what is now Egypt.
[This is what we have found by just scratching the surface. Much more evidence exists. We could write a book on it and maybe one day we will.
In our work, "Lost Israelite Identity. The Hebrew Ancestry of Celtic Races" (1996) we did bring some sources on this matter. ]
When the Ten Tribes return at least part of them will arrive via the region of Kurdistan in northern Iraq.
This region is referred to in Hebrew as Matsor. Michah 7:12 says the Israelites will return from Matsor and from the sea.
Matsor is translated as "fortress" and "ari Matsor" (cities of Matsor) is translated as "Fortified cities".
Other verses tells us that the Ten Tribes will return by plane and ship from the Atlantic Ocean area,
e.g.
Isaiah 60:
8 Who are these who fly like a cloud,
And like doves to their roosts?
9 Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me;
And the ships of Tarshish will come first,
To bring your sons from afar,
Their silver and their gold with them,
To the name of the LORD your God,
And to the Holy One of Israel,
Because He has glorified you.
By the ships of Tarshish is meant ships plying the Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean is the sea between North America and the British Isles and Western Europe. The Ten Tribes will return from this region.
Many of the Ten tribes will come from Northern and Western Europe and enter the Middle East via the Caucasus and the Black Sea into the region of Kurdistan (Matsor) and from there they will continue southward.
The region of Kurdistan in northern Iraq is a no-fly area still under the protection of the USA and Britain who have oil interests in the region.
It has been that way since the First Gulf War (1991).

The Return of Ephraim
Micah 7:
12 In that day they shall come to you
From Assyria and the fortified cities [ari Matsor]
From the fortress [Matsor] to the River,
From sea to sea,
And mountain to mountain.
At least part of the Ten Tribes will return to areas now controlled by the State of Israel whereas others will settle in the areas around (Zechariah 10:10 Micah 7:14).
They will conquer and settle in the surrounding regions including Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon.
Micah 7:
12 In that day they shall come to you
From Assyria and the fortified cities [ari Matsor]
From the fortress [Matsor] to the River,
From sea to sea,
And mountain to mountain.
13 Yet the land shall be desolate
Because of those who dwell in it,
And for the fruit of their deeds.
14 Shepherd Your people with Your staff,
The flock of Your heritage,
Who dwell solitarily in a woodland,
In the midst of Carmel;
Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead,
As in days of old.
Carmel may refer to Mount Carmel (near Haifa in Israel) in the territory of Asher or it may refer to (in the Hebrew language) any piedmont area i.e. a flattish verdant region at the foot of mountain.
Bashan means present-day Syria and the area to the east of it.
Gilead also means part of Syria as well as Jordan.
Zechariah 10:
6 I will strengthen the house of Judah,
And I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back,
Because I have mercy on them.
They shall be as though I had not cast them aside;
For I am the LORD their God,
And I will hear them.
7 Those of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man,
And their heart shall rejoice as if with wine.
Yes, their children shall see it and be glad;
Their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.
8 I will whistle for them and gather them,
For I will redeem them;
And they shall increase as they once increased.
9 I will sow them among the peoples,
And they shall remember Me in far countries;
They shall live, together with their children,
And they shall return.
10 I will also bring them back from the land of Egypt,
And gather them from Assyria.
I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon,
Until no more room is found for them.
11 He shall pass through the sea with affliction,
And strike the waves of the sea:
All the depths of the River shall dry up.
Then the pride of Assyria shall be brought down,
And the scepter of Egypt shall depart.
12 So I will strengthen them in the Lord,
And they shall walk up and down in His name,
Says the LORD.
Here the Prophet is speaking of both Judah and Joseph (Zechariah 10:6). Ephraim being strengthened is emphasized (10:7).
They will return from their places of Exile (10:10) and be resettled in the Land of Gilead and Lebanon.
Gilead is in present-day Jordan and part of Syria as we said. Lebanon is present-day Lebanon and the region to the north of it in Syria.
The Ten Tribes when they return will conquer all these lands and settle in them.
