Germans are not Israelites!

The PROTEST
To Yair Davidiy :Who says the Germans have to of Ephraim in order to be Israelite? The Bible mentions Britain and or England? really? Where? is this the same England that I know of that at one time expelled the Jews from its borders? For you to speak of "most Germans" at whatever time in history offends me. My mothers parents were not hateful, not influential, not political and certainly not antisemitic. They had nine children, barely got by, and my grandfather did odd jobs but his profession had been farmer/stone mason. He fought in WWI and barely got out alive. Never spoke of it, because like most men caught up in real fighting and warfare, it was something he preferred to try to forget, as if he could. His children, my mothers brothers were friends with Jews. My Grandfather took odd jobs to get by and was often employed helping Jews move their possessions as many fled the country. As you may know often Jews were limited as to what they could take out of the County, nevertheless my Grandfather helped pack it all away for them despite the rules, whatever they wanted to take with them he crated up and sent along to their new home. One Jewish family that went to Brazil sent my Grandfather a gift of Coffee, a rare commodity for any German during the war, let alone a poor working man like my Grandfather. So, the next time you make the PRONOUNCEMENT that "Most Germans" wanted the Jews dead, Have a care! You don't know Anything about "Most Germans" let alone even one! My mother was a gentle soul as was her mother, my Grandmothers sons died one by one and quickly, none of which joined any of the ranks of SS. One of my mothers brothers was sought to join the SS because he was very tall. To avoid their ranks he joined the regular army. There was no option for poor Germans. Too poor to flee the country they were all conscripted and used up. One by one my mother got the news of each of her brothers deaths. One brother had just come home on furlogh when he was called back immediately. My mother was only allowed to see him off at the train station if she promised "not to cry". Well that was the last time she saw him and she did cry. On her way home from school a schoolmate told her that she had heard that Anton had been killed. My mother ran all the way home in tears hoping it wasn't true. It was. The night before her father had had a dream that Anton had arrived home, even went to the door to see. Darkness only, but his sons soul reaching out to his father in his dying moments. Then My mothers youngest brother Herman disobeyed his father and mother and went out to fight the fires in town that were a common occurrence due to the constant bombings in Munich. From that rainy night he caught Spinal meningitis and died in silence lying in bed while my mother and her parents watched in speechless horror as their youngest boy lay dying in silence unable to speak with tears rolling down his face. (No competent doctor was able to diagnose his illness in time for a spinal tap, all available doctors survicing either top Nazis or at the front) in the end only one son survived. A medic who was captured by the British and sent to POW camp where the commandant fed them hardly at all necessitating that many prisoners resorted to eating grass. My mothers family never had a hate filled intention against any people, let alone the Jews. Indeed they had been intimately friendly with a good many of them, their children all playing together. What you don't realize SIR is that it doesn't take a majority of people to cause an evil movement to grow up underneath their feet. It only takes the concerted effort of a small dedicated group of evil and inhumane individuals. Particularly since most of the populace of ANY nation are usually too busy raising their families and tending to their own daily problems. Hitler and his cronies more than decimated the German people as well. He was certainly a catastrophe for my Mom's family. Well why didn't the Germans stop Hitler you ask? If you outnumber your enemy you can certainly force him out of power right? Well the prisoners at any of the Nazi run camps also outnumbered their captors, so by that token if concerted effort had been made surely they could have seized power and gained their freedom, so why didn't they? Answer: Human Nature. Because people in emergencies often fail to act, even onto their doom. Instead those in the Nazi camps did their best to survive individually doing whatever they could to do so. On the outside, Germans did pretty much the same with the most opportunistic people seeking the inside track with or without ever truly embracing Nazi ideals, only seeking profit. In America as well people enjoyed the potential profit the war could provide. One man on a streetcar crowed about all the money he was making on the war and how he hoped it would never end. My Father told me He was nearly thrown from the streetcar by people whose sons were fighting that war in which he was making his blood money! People are people! All the world over human nature is the same! I can assure you that my mothers family NEVER sought or enjoyed the idea of destroying the Jewish people amongst whom they had many friends and acquaintances. So when you say you KNOW "something" on that order, then your words sound no different then when racists and bigots say, "Most Indians" Most Blacks, Most Hispanics, fill in the blank. Sitting as you are now on the sidelines of History, you have no magic inner view-scope with which to plumb the hearts and minds of "Most Germans" with which you can reliably make such a glib and judgmental statements. I also notice that absolutely no one in America is aware of the summary deaths/executions of young student Sophie Scholl and her brother and friends, all because as true Christians they dared defy Hitler by dispensing pamphlets against his tyranny. Her story ignored also in favor of the views that "Most Germans" fell in lockstep behind Hitler. Never mind all the good and decent things Historically that German people can be credited for. Lets let just two decades define them forever! Never mind that the Britons went about the entire world slaughtering conquering and oppressing, enslaving the people's of many nations, all despite the fact that they were (England) quite secure within their borders protected by the sea itself, not content with what they had they went out and aggressively sought conquest. I once read of the Britons getting an entire conquered town community of remaining old men women and children and driving them over the cliffs to their deaths. Snort yeah, those English, haha I guess they conquered their colonies with a smile and a please and a thank you. What rot! As for the links you provided, on the Internet you can find links to support and frame any errant belief, and the existence of such links does not evoke proof. Have you not heard of the"Black Hebrew Israelites"? A truly hatefilled group whose links are profligate on the internet. I have have stood up to them, and not for any supposed Israelites, for only God knows who are truly of the lost tribes, not you and not I, but I contend against them for the true Jews who are plainly in Israel now as God has indeed gathered them. I tell them how obnoxious they are to call the Jews "false" and "Jew-ish" and that their abuse of the Jewish people is just another effort to abuse a most beleaguered people. Also it is ridiculous to say that Germans had always been unfriendly toward Jews as stated in one of the links you provide. This is a glib pretense without true proof. For the Jews before Hitler were not driven out of the country in a wholesale manner AS THEY WERE IN ENGLAND IN THE MIDDLE AGES, how forgetful we are of England's programs against the Jews. In fact in Germany before Hitler the Jews were flourishing! Held high office and tenure at the best Universities and Institutions! In fact Franz Joseph the second of Austria hundreds of years ago lifted any prejudices against Jews and allowed them to mix freely in Austrian and German society. So yes the Jews did VERY well in Germany Until Hitler came along. Whilst Poland and other Russian satellite countries always enacted Progroms against the Jews within their borders and therein the Jews lived in Ghettos. Not so in Germany, as Jews occupied, and flourished in the upper strata of German society and even the military. So your links? The ones you provided? Not so good. Not so accurate. Lots of statements not borne out by facts. just alot of presuppositions that tend to go over real well with people who are ignorant of the facts.
Brit-Am Reply:
We say that according to our impressions most Germans who migrated to the USA were different from those who stayed behind.
This is not an importable proposition. It may be the case in many mass migrations.
We are also speaking in general terms. We do not mean to target any specific family or person.
There are exceptions for everything. History has to deal in generalities.
There are demographic and genealogical studies. These show that peoples change. It is also known as Genetic Drift. Certain families disappear from one area and flourish in another. Or disappear altogether.
The 50 million Chinese overseas (cf. 1, 400 million in China itself, 2019). rerpresent people from all parts of China including minority elemernts. Nevertheless most Chinese overseas came from the southeast of China with a few villages in an isolated area from not that long ago being pominent. A lot of other Chinese disappeared. Those who went overseas increased and multiplied. Demographic changes take place everywhere. Most South Koreans are closely related and come from a few ancestors. What happened to the others?
Hungary was once half Magyar. Today the Magyars have mostly disappeared and others have taken their place. The population of Hungary today is at least partly German.
Demographic Changes take place under the radar of history.
For instance from Baden in southwest Germany over 66% of the population emigrated in the 1700s and 1800s and others replaced them.
Schleswig-Holstein (in North Germany on the border with Denmark) after 1945 received a flood of settlers uprooted from German settlements in east Europe and these became more than 75% of the population.
The sociological political outlook of the area changed consequently.
Even DNA over centuries shows changes in the predominant presence of particular haplotypes in place of others.
History should perhaps be more interested in them.
A lot of work has been done on this.
The problem is that work on these issues is often scattered over different disciplines. It should be a subject in its own right.
Migrants in general according to Ripley were STATISTICALLY of physically different type from those who did not migrate.

show that in Germany for centuries there was a widespread popular feeling that the Jews needed to be eliminated.
This does not mean that most Germans hated Jews. It means however that many did and that it was socially acceptable to openly and demonstrably do so.
This was not the case for German migrants to the USA though some anti-Jewish sentiment did exist amongst them it was less widespread and less virulent.
Stan Nadel, a researcher of Historical Sociology at Southwestern Oklahoma State University found that amongst the immigrants to the USA from Germany in the 1800s there was relatively little anti-semitism. See: "Jewish Race and German Soul in Nineteenth Century America," American Jewish History, September, 1987
We have a chapter in our book, "Joseph" on this subject.

Additional Points:
You object to our saying that "most Germans wanted the Jews dead". Did we say that? First of all "most" does not mean "all". We never said there were no exceptions.
Assuming we said what you said we did let us re-phrase it:

Assuming we said what you said we did let us re-phrase it:
# A strong element amongst the German populace believed in the total elimination of the Jews and were prepared in principle to act on this belief. Enough Germans to create an effective majority were conditioned to acquiesce with this attitude. #
Once murder is being committed the motivation is of secondary importance, especially to the victim.
Hitler did not come to power and then arouse hatred of the Jews. He came to power by virtue of his hatred and its popular appeal.

You did not give a reference, nor explain where, when, who? Without more details we cannot relate to this claim. It may be true or it may not. It sounds like a mistruth and therefore we would require some kind of referecne before according it any degree of tentative credibility.
Jews suffered in England in the Middle Ages. They also suffered in Germany. It is easier for us to relate to recent history because this is what we can get some kind of handle on.
The family of my mother was Jewish. Most of them were probably from Germany or from areas influenced by German culture such as Switzerland, Alsace (France), Denmark, etc.
On the side of my father there were non-Jews and perhaps (through Frederick, the Hanoverian Prince of Wales in England) some who were German. And perhaps not.
Historically there were a lot of good Germans and still are.
Winston Chutrchill had a close German advisor.
Members of the Ten Tribes were amongst the Germans and some still may be. Most are not.
On our web-sites, in our Video Clips, and our publications we show how according to the Bible the Lost Ten Tribes are in the west.
The Biblical proofs do not encompass Germany and the Criteria we use do not fit Germany. In fact MOST peoples of the world do not qualify.
This does not mean there is anything wrong with them.
Statistically more than 60% of the people in Germany still hold anti-Jewish prejudices. This is the highest in Western Europe.
Also MOST (again that word you dislike, "most" but in this case we could also say "nearly all") Germans in Germany (as dsitinct from Germans in the USA) would not want to be descended from Israelites. The idea could well offend them.
Our impression is that those few Germans who might be attracted to the idea would usually RATHER it not include MOST of their fellow Germans.
People of German descent, such as yourself, who live in English-speaking countries etc are DIFFERENT in this regard. Why is that?
