Brit-Am Reply:
The Khyber Pass is on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, see our article,
Afghanistan and the Ten Tribes: Taliban-Who? Pathans are NOT Israelites!
http://www.britam.org/Taliban.html
In short, the article explains that the present-day Afghan and Pathans are NOT descended from Israelites BUT Israelites from the Ten Tribes affiliated with the Scythian Peoples were once in their area. Later they moved out and together with the other Israelites moved westward, to Europe and the British Isles
The clip by Jacobivici about the Ten Tribes is Very Misleading!
Simcha Jacobivici also claimed to have found the tomb of James, brother of the Christian Messiah. He has been accused of fraud or of lending his talents to a fraudulent work.

Joe Zias, former curator of archaeology at the Israeli Antiquities Authority. Kloner told the Jerusalem Post that the documentary is "nonsense." Zias described it in an e-mail to The Washington Post as a "hyped up film which is intellectually and scientifically dishonest."
The clip about the Ten Tribes by Jacobivici is worth looking at since, here and there, it shows a few matters concerning the Lost Ten Tribes in general. It is however also very long (1 hour 35 minutes) and in my opinion mendacious.
Jacobivici did not find anything new but rather took the teaching of Avichail and made a film about it. Many such films now exist.
Simcha Jacobivici however seems to have a lot of money behind him. He also makes money out of what he does.
[If we had the same budget he has we might be able to make something ten times better, since we the truth is on our side.]
Do not believe any of it without checking other sources.

2. Concerning the Ethiopian Jews Being from the Tribe of Dan:
Jacobivici says that the Falashas (Ethiopian Jews) were recognized by Israeli Rabbis as being descended from the Tribe of Dan.
This is not exactly correct.
Rabbi Ovadiah Yoseph did make such a statement based on an opinion of the Radbaz (Acronym of Rabbi David ben Solomon ibn Zimra 1479-1573). As we explained in our work, Ephraim", it may be that a break-off small group of Naphtalites and Danites made their way to Yemen and from there were taken captive to Ethiopia. They merged with local Ethiopian communities some of whom at that time observed the Jewish religion. The Ethiopian Jews themselves however do not claim to be descended from Dan. They say they are Ethiopians who accepted the Jewish Religion or Israelites who conquered Ethiopian peoples and induced therm to become Jewish. At one time the Ethiopian Jews were apparently very powerful. Later however, they were defeated by their neighbors, degraded, and severely persecuted.

3. Concerning the Kuki Burmese being from Manasseh
The clip brings claims the so-called Manasseh (Kuki people) are being attacked because they are Israelites. This is a complete invention. It could also involve the State of Israel against its will in affairs that should not be of our concern. The so-called Bnei Manasseh belong to the Mizo and Kuki (Chin) people. They live on the border areas of India and Burma and want independence from both. In the past they were dominated and exploited by their other peoples with whom they are still quarrelling. They have issues with their neighbors and fight them but not because they are Israelites. The Kukis were allied with the Japanese in World War .
It does not however seem obvious that certain Kuki elements are endeavoring to obtain international support for their vendettas by exploiting the efforts of Avichail who claims they are from the Ten Tribes. The Kuki themselves may also be inventing evidence to back up their claims. Their lives could depend on it. The clip shows a Kuki activist, Seilon Haokip, presenting a flag which he says is that of the Kuki independence movement. It has a Star of David in the center.
Originally they were animists and worshipped spirits. Then the British sent missionaries amongst them and they became Christian.
# According to some Bnei Menashe, in 1951, a Pentecostalist called Chalianthanga or Mela Chala (the name varies) from Buallawn village dreamt that God instructed him to direct his people to return to their pre-Christian religion, which he determined to be Judaism, and to return to their original homeland, Israel.[16]#
Other sources say that the vision concerning Israelite Descent was the result of alcoholism.
Only a very few of the Kuki actually believed that they were Israelites BUT due to the extreme poverty and dangers etc of the place they are living in migration to Israel naturally is attractive. They themselves admit as much.

4. Concerning the Afghans, and Pathans being from the Ten Tribes: Esau and the Romans were also claimed as forefathers!
See:
Afghanistan and the Ten Tribes: Taliban-Who? Pathans are NOT Israelites!
This case is more complicated thaN THE OTHERS as our above-quoted article shows. Israelites were in the area but moved out. Others came in and by thier neighbors were given the name of the peoples who had formerly lived in the region . Also groups of Jews and peoples in some stage of Judaizing were accepted into Tribal confederacies. In addition to all this the local inhabitants have the habit of claiming descent from everybody and anybody. They also claim to be descended from Esau, from the Persians, Greeks, and Romans, and from the Arab Tribe of Mohamed, and from several other peoples. They were proud to be considered the first Aryans and if it were not for the British would have exterminated the few Jews that then lived in their land.
