What was Hitler's myth about Jesus being Jewish?
The Christian story is that a Jewish woman miraculously conceived and bore Jesus. He was considered the Son of God or part of God Himself. Jewish legend in the Middle Ages or earlier claimed that the real father of this person was a Roman soldier. Later revisionist Christian writers in Europe accepted this. They said that Jesus had non-Jewish straightforward characteristics that were superior to those of the Jews he lived among. They attributed this to Aryan infusion into his genealogy. This is what Fraulein Adolf was referring to. Adolf Hitler read a lot in his youth but does not seem to have been an original thinker. Everything he said seems to have been taken from anti-Semitic and pseudo-academic literature extant in his time in Germany and Austria.
