Historically, why have Jews been chased out of many countries in which they lived in?
It had been predicted that if the Israelites did not keep the Law that they would be exiled and driven from place to place, cf.
Deuteronomy (NASB) 28:
64 Moreover, the LORD will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth...
65 Among those nations you shall find no rest, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot...
Concerning the various exiles of Jews in general a few common denominators stand out.
We took as examples mainly the following cases:
The Expulsion of Jews from England in 1290.
The Expulsion from Spain in 1492.
The Expulsion and Extermination in Germany.
The attacks and de facto expulsions and exterminations in Poland before, during, and after WW2.
Factors leading to the exiles included the following four elements:
a. Demonization of the Jews in popular eyes.
b. Sexual Congress, this includes sex as well as the Interchange of Gentiles for Jews and Jews for Gentiles.
c. Economic Advantage of an important section of the attacking Gentile population to be gained from displacement of the Jews.
d. Ideological Motivations of the Gentile Enablers (king, government, etc).
In the above cases it would seem that just one activator was not enough and that all four needed to be present.
These four causative situations were presaged in the account of Balak and Balaam and the attempt to curse and destroy Israel, as given in Numbers chapters 22 to 25.
