Is Judah related to Judea?
The term Judea is a Latinized form of the name â€œYehudahâ€ meaning Judah.
Â Judah was the main Tribe in the Kingdom of Judah. All members of the kingdom of Judah were known as â€œYahudimâ€ i.e. Jews.
Â Mordecai, the uncle of Queen Esther, was expressly described as descended from the Tribe of Benjamin and a man of Judah i.e. a Jew.
