Orthodox Judaism doesn't recognize any other stream of Judaism as a legitimate representation of the Jewish faith, why not?
What do you mean 'monopoly'? There is no other!
Modern Orthodox: These are basically Orthodox.
National Religious: Mainly Orthodox.
Sephardim: Loyal to Orthodox Judaism.
Non-Observant Orthodox: Â "The synagogue I never visit is an Orthodox one." This describes many Israelis.
Hasidim: These are a type of Hareidim and therefore Ultra-Orthodox.
They are all Orthodox!
Orthodox believe in the Torah as received generation after generation, with explanation.
Anyone who disagrees with this is not really in the picture.
