The question was,
If Palestinians in the West Bank aren't Israeli citizens, why do Israeli soldiers in the West Bank control them?
Israeli soldiers have to be there to protect Israeli citizens who are also there. Israeli soldiers also have to protect Israeli citizens (and sometimes Palestinian ones) from terrorist incursions into there or from out of there. I agree that this is an anomalous situation that perhaps should not be allowed. The Palestinians should therefore be encouraged get out of there and be re-settled elsewhere. They should be given compensation, protection, and assistance in moving elsewhere. Why are people like yourselves not advocating such a solution? Why do you want Israelis to get out and Palestinians to stay? The reverse solution is preferable and workable. The time has come to be honest and to stop using false humanitarian consideration to hide hatred of the Jews. Do not anger the God of Israel.
Zecharian (ESV) 2:
8 For thus said the LORD of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of HIS eye: 9 Behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall become plunder for those who served them. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me. 10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I will dwell in your midst, declares the LORD. 11 And many nations shall join themselves to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people. And I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. 12 And the LORD will inherit Judah as HIS portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.
13 Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.
