The question was,
Why doesn't Israel move?
There is some logic to this. Because Israel is not asking others to move the others are trying to move Israel! It is one way or the other! Israel should move outwards, i.e. it should expand. The present restricted area is actually too small for the existing population. The Israelis were even planning to build artificial islands off the coast. They may still intend to do so. Settlement in Judah and Samaria is ongoing but not enough. It should be increased drastically. Meanwhile the price of land everywhere else is exorbitant. Many Israeli citizens cannot afford to buy a house due to the price of land and the secular bureaucracy in Israel. Even to rent an apartment in places like Jerusalem is beyond the means of most people.
Nevertheless most get by eventually but it takes miracles or outside support. They who lack either are in trouble.
At all events this is a place which is,
Deuteronomy 11:
12 a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year.
By rights the Israelis should indeed move the Palestinians away by helping them re-settle elsewhere and compensating them. The Israelis however are unlikely to do this in the near future since many of them lack faith, others think such a move immoral, and still other fears world reaction, etc. The Israelis should also consider moving out into Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Sinai but this also they will not do soon for the reasons listed above and also due to lack of population.
All the same, we appreciate your concern. You have a point. In this region of the world a nation like Israel needs to get big or get out. Because the Israelis are not tough enough against their enemies they start oppressing each other. Anyway as individuals we can only do what we can to get by as well as we can. Sooner or later things will change and we hope it shall be for the better.
We have been warned.
Numbers 33:
55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
