Shouldn't Israel been somewhere not populated rather than a populated place like Palestine making the Palestinians pay the price for the mistake that Germany, Poland and the USSR did to the Jews?
One could reverse the question:
Seeing has how the Land of Israel was promised by God Almighty to the People of Israel should the Palestinians not have had better sense than to claim it for themselves?
If they found the land empty and came in as temporary squatters then they should be thankful. They are asked merely to vacate the premises without having to compensate the real owners. The true proprietors in fact, having kind hearts, would be quite willing to assist them in finding alternate dwellings and acclimatizing themselves in new places.
We agree that the mistreatment of the Jews by "Germany, Poland and the USSR" along with others may have been a factor in speeding the process of repossession up.
Therefore those nations should get together and allocate one or other of their expansive regions to Palestinians who have not yet found alternative places to dwell in.
7 The LORD appeared to Abram and said, ‘To your descendants I will give this land.’ So he built an altar there to the LORD who had appeared to him.
18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying,
"To your descendants I have given this land,
From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates."
3 Sojourn in this land and I will be with you and bless you, for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to your father Abraham. 4 I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; 5 because Abraham obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes and My laws.
31 I will fix your boundary from the Red Sea to the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River Euphrates; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you will drive them out before you. 32 You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods. 33 They shall not live in your land, because they will make you sin against Me; for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.
1 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 "Command the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders.
8 See, I have placed the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to them and their descendants after them.
