PM Netanyahu is NOT the Messiah but he may be a forerunner.
PM Binyamin Netanyhau may well be descended from King David as we explained in another query, See:

To be the Messiah however other criteria need to be fulfilled.

The criteria still needed to be fulfilled include: Waging wars against the enemies of Israel, Bringing back the Ten Tribes, In-gathering the Jews in Dispersion, Persuading the Jews to become Observant Believers, Having the Gift of prophecy, and several other points that the PM has not yet managed to achieve.
