How accurate is oral history?
It depends where and what.
Oral History is how verbally transmitted memories describe what has happened in the past.
Different events from various periods may be conflated.
The accounts may be mistaken.
Sometimes the truth may have been the opposite from what is believed.
On the other hand,
Verbal records are often in an overall sense correct.
Inner truths concerning subconscious motivations, or prejudices or social developments, etc, may be expressed.
Oral History is valid historical material and needs to be taken into consideration together with all other sources.
