No Conspiracy!

The map shows what Germany and Austria would have gained from Russia after the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk on 3 March 1918. It ended Russian antagonism to Germany and promised Germany rights and lands in the east that given time could have made the Teutonic Powers all-powerful. The Communists had taken over Russia with German help and this was to be their remuneration. It did not work out that way however.

There is such a thing as collusion, of forces with common interests working together consciously or otherwise, but there is no real Conspiracy as such.
 Nevertheless, at junctions in history something close to planned action or Conspiracy type behavior may take place. In such cases the culprits are usually close to the very elements who promote Conspiracy Theories. The Germans, the Catholic Church in part, and other groups are the ones who promoted Conspiracy Theories against the Jews. The Truth is that they themselves were the Conspirators. The Jews whom the Conspiracy People condemn were inactive or neutral elements or pawns of other parties. Personally I do not think that in the period spoken of Bankers were as important as other players in the game. To the degree that Bankers did play a commanding role then it was the Gentile Banking elites in Germany and may be even in the USA who were the most guilty rather than the Jews. There was not that much control however in the real sense from anyone. They all played it by ear and allowed themselves to be carried away by the swing of events, their own greed, and prejudices. Anyway Lenin was heavily funded by the Germans. It was towards the end of World War-1, Germany was fighting on two fronts and looked like losing. The German Secret Service was in contact with the one in Russia. Both sides were anti-Jewish. The Czar was also anti-Jewish. Being anti-Jewish however was not enough to ensure loyalty. Russia was allied to the Allies against Germany and Austro-Hungary. The Germans wanted to take Russia out of the War. Members of the Russian Secret service for their own reasons wanted the same. They also wanted to replace the Czar.
There was a revolution of the Russian People which at first was headed by liberal moderate elements. These were replaced by the Bolsheviks thanks to the leadership of Lenin . It was done with German connivance and German money given to Lenin. This was to the advantage of Germany but it came too late. Germany still lost. The German elites blamed the Jews for their defeat. The German People believed them because it was convenient for them to do so. The Jews were weak and vulnerable and had been vilified since the beginning. It was not fear of Jewish power that caused the Germans to blame the Jews for all that was wrong and to hate them. It was contempt for the Jews and awareness that Jews could be hurt with impunity. The Germans felt a need to kick a vulnerable victim so that is what they did.
