White European Americans are descendants of white Europeans.
We were asked: What race of people in the Bible are white European Americans descendants of? I've heard pronouncements that Arabs lineage date to Esau, Jews to Jacob, Blacks to others, Native Americans to Israelites.
Where do the White European Americans come from?
We do not really know.
Everyone is a mixture to some degree.
Physical differences are an outcome of heredity and environment. The effects of climate may be much greater and faster than was previously admitted.
Nowadays much emphasis is placed on DNA. This definitely says something about heredity but it too will eventually be shown to be due (at least in part) to environment.
The Bible in Genesis 10 lists peoples as descended from Shem, Ham, and Japhet. Very Nice. According to tradition the Assyrians conquered the world and confused the nations. They would take people from one place and put them in another, women from here and men from there and throw them together. The Assyrians themselves in their inscriptions boasted of this. We have written on these matters elsewhere.
Anyway, based on the Bible and other sources we can say the following:
The American whites come from the British Isles and from European nations. The non-British European whites who came to America were not necessarily the same stock as those who stayed behind. These who left had often lived in different areas, remained separate, had different outlooks, differing physiques, and different origins from the others.
The Europeans Peoples on the whole descend from Japhet son of Noah.
Genesis 10:
2 The sons of Japheth were Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras.
3 The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah.
4 The sons of Javan were Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Dodanim.
Descendants of Shem and Ham also came to Europe.
Edomites and Israelites were especially important. Israelites from the Ten Tribes were once to be found throughout Europe but mostly settled in the Islands and Coastlines in the west. Many of them later migrated to North America. Those of them who had settled elswhere in Europe in many cases also later moved to the USA.
