Finding the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel and an Analogy Concerning the Red-Haired Man
Statistical Probability Overwhelmingly indicates that the Lost Ten Tribes are amongst Western Peoples.
How does Statistical Probability Work?
Quite simply its says that if there is one chance in ten that event A will occur and one chance in ten that B will happen then (all other things being equal) there is only one chance in a hundred (10 multiplied by 10) that both A and B will come to pass at the same time.
We have proof that a great many inhabitants of Western Nations who consider themselves "Gentiles" are in fact of Israelite Descent. Vast numbers are involved (Genesis 15:5, 22:17, 24:60, 32:12, Numbers 23:10, Isaiah 24:16, 26:15). It was indeed prophesied that the descendants of Israel would be as the sand of the sea (Hosea 1:10) and as the stars of the sky (Isaiah 10:22) for multitude. They were to be blessed and to bring a blessing upon all the peoples of the earth (Genesis 12:2-3, 18:18-19, 22:18 cf. 24:4). They were destined to achieve greatness in order to do justice and judgment (Genesis 18:19).
This message in various forms has already gone out to quite a large number of people though obviously not nearly enough. Many have never heard of this possibility or if they have then it has been misrepresented by bad elements. The notion has been appropriated by eccentrics and in some instances twisted and perverted to serve anti-Jewish and racialist agendas, or for religious purposes that are not consitent with the Bible.
Nevertheless, the underlying message is a true one. This is true. It is as close to the truth as we can get with the tools we have. Nothing more than this is necessarily expected of us.
The fact that it has been misappropriated here and there should not prevent us from considering it objectively.
On the contrary, if after examining what is being said concerning our ancestry we agree with it we should then support it even more vigorously in order to take it away from the domain of evildoers.
There is however another aspect.
The truth is that a significant proportion of people within certain nations are of Israelite descent. On a collective level the nations they belong to have obligations as a nation:
These obligations include effecting a reconciliation with the Jews of Judah (Isaiah 11:13), and helping prepare the rebuilding of the Temple which in practical terms today means supporting the State of Israel (Isaiah 27:13).
They are also obliged to seek out proof on both the Biblical and Secular levels (such as archaeology and historical studies, Jeremiah 31:21) to confirm their Israelite Ancestry
and enable them to eventually return.
In the End Times they were to seek out the God of Israel and return to the Right Path (Jeremiah 50:4). The Jews ("Judah") also has an obligation to bring back the Lost Ten Tribes (Ezekiel 16:53, 55, 61). In the Last Days a complete reconciliation will take place (Ezekiel 37:15-28).
On a personal level the Lost Tribes are exhorted to upgrade their morality in the areas of family life (Amos 2:7), avoid substance abuse (Isaiah 28:1), and dishonesty (28:1).
It is clear that eventually Reunion between Judah and the Ten Tribes will involve a removal of the differences between them on the religious and other levels.
This however is a scenario for the Latter Days when re-union takes effect and when each individual may be assured of their Israelite Status.
As individuals no-one can be sure at present that they descend from Israel.
A person may however assume that they are of Israelite origin based on their instinctive inner feelings and also due to the degree of probability that exists if they belong to a group that has a high proportion of possible Israelites within it.
Even if technically one does not descend from Israel they will be considered Israelites in the End Times through dwelling amongst Israelites and identifying with them as prophesied in the Book of Ezekiel.
AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT YE SHALL DIVIDE IT BY LOT FOR AN INHERITANCE UNTO YOU, AND TO THE STRANGERS THAT SOJOURN AMONG YOU, WHICH SHALL BEGET CHILDREN AMONG YOU: AND THEY SHALL BE UNTO YOU AS BORN IN THE COUNTRY AMONG THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL; THEY SHALL HAVE INHERITANCE WITH YOU AMONG THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL [Ezekiel 47:22].
A problem arises however when people take it for granted that they are Israelites and make their own assumption supposing that they should be considered as fully-fledged
Israelites by everybody else.
This phenomenon can take the form of a demand that they should be accepted as the same as Jews amongst Jews or be given equal rights as Israelites alongside the Jews under the Law of Return.
These are extreme cases but they exist.
There may be even a logical justice in such claims but they do not apply at present. A re-affirmation of Israelite Origin is needed at the national level.
For the present,
If one belongs to an "Israelite" nation the nation has peculiar Hebraic national duties.
The individual has an obligation as a member of the nation to do what can be done to ensure that the national duties
are fulfilled.
The individual also has an obligation to affirm to the extent of their ability their Israelite ancestry and spread knowledge of it to others.
This is the commandment mentioned by Jeremiah:
[Jeremiah 31:21] SET THEE UP WAYMARKS, MAKE THEE HIGH HEAPS: SET THINE HEART TOWARD THE HIGHWAY, EVEN THE WAY WHICH THOU WENTEST: TURN AGAIN, O VIRGIN OF ISRAEL, TURN AGAIN TO THESE THY CITIES.
Proof exists that descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes are today to be found amongst Western Peoples and their overseas offshoots. Hebrerw Nations uses Biblical evidence as well as Proofs from other fields that help strengthen and confirm conclusions reached from Scripture. Much of the evidence is direct and conclusive in its own right. Some points merely serve as general indications that need to be taken into consideration along with other facts. This is cumulative proof in which everything noted should be considered as part of a complementary whole. In the past it has happened that our detractors isolate one or other indicator of identity claiming that it also applies to a wider segment of humanity than we apply it. This may be so in some cases but it is not correct when the said points are applied in tandem with each other.
By analogy there exists DNA determination of identity based on statistical probability. This DNA determination is often sufficient to convict people of crimes, it is used as evidence of paternity, and as such can help determine inheritance, etc. A DNA report may look something like the results below:
Locus |
D13S317 |
D7S820 |
D16S539 |
Genotype |

In these results there are seven factors. Each factor could apply to a large number of people. Take for example the first result in the first column: It says that at Locus D13S317 the Genotype shows 11. This result is present in 1.2 per cent of US males. This is the smallest percentage used in the above markers. In practical terms it means that about 3,600,000 identical cases for this DNA Locus exist in the USA. When we apply the same analogy to the other Locii the numbers are even greater, in some cases very much so. Nevertheless taking all the percentages together and applying them as one complementary whole they are taken to apply to only one possible person and to none other unless the candidate in question has an identical twin.
This conclusion is legally binding. It can mean the difference between life and death.
Biblical Evidence concerning the identity of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel is stronger than this.
Some of our proofs can only be used as referring specifically to the entities we identify. They cannot be applied differently as will be seen.
We apply these points together with evidence of a statistically significant nature similar to that used in our DNA analogy. This depends on the application being made together with other proofs as part of a complementary whole.
The principle is that a combination of many relatively common features when found in one subject almost certainly will not be found elsewhere. If indeed at a later date they are found elsewhere this will mean that the subject (or part of the subject) has moved from one place to another.
Another similar analogy is the case of The Red-Haired Man
"The Red-Haired Man" was named John Smith. He had a wife named Sarah and two children named Bill and Anne. John Smith had red hair. He was five feet six, wore spectacles for short-sightedness, and stuttered.
There was another person named "Jack".
Jack was told by his employer that a "Red-Haired Man" named John Smith and his family according to the above description would meet him in the main square of the city.
Jack however did not go to the meeting.
When his employer asked "Why"?
Jack replied that the description was not precise enough, explaining that:
Many people have red hair. John Smith is a common name. A lot of women are named "Sarah". Quite a few boys are called "Bill" and many girls reply to the appellation "Anne". Five feet six is the height of a good portion of the male population. The city has many squares and a lot of people stand around in them.
The employer was justifiably irritated.
Technically, Jack was correct but in practical terms the identification criteria he had been given were exact and would have been applicable to only one candidate.
We too have an obligation to "Our Employer" to clarify where the Lost Tribes of Israelites are today.
We were given signs of identification and we can and should use them.
This is important. It means that many people in the West today are descended from Israel. On the whole they are unaware of their Hebrew ancestry. Nevertheless their destiny and the fate of their nations is to be determined by their identity. This book proves it. "Proof" cannot be ignored. "Proof" is dynamic and electrifying. "Proof" is a duty and a goal. "Proof" is something to believe in. "Proof" is a light at the end of the tunnel. "Proof" is on your side.
