Which Tribe is Where?
Reflections:
1. Numbers of Tribes versus Number of Identifications.
12 Entities have been proposed.
To maintain Biblical Symmetry we need Israel-Judah to comprise primarily 2 tribes which it does if we ignore Levi who was scattered even though a later concentration of Levi resulted within the confines of Judah.
That leaves us with 11 Lost Ten Tribes entities whereas we need only 10. We have 10 if we count Ephraim and Manasseh together as Joseph.
Alternately we could consider Belgium as part of Britain; or not count Switzerland since Switzerland may have a strong Edomite element intermixed with the Israelite one.
On the other hand,
Surprisinlgy enough identifying the two separate entities of Finland and Swtizerland as both pertaining to Issachar helps confirm the Israelite identity of both of them and strengthens the Brit-Am identifications. For details see: Issachar-Zebulon. Switzerland and Holland.
