Thank you for this video
I have been lead ... to study the tribe of Benjamin..I had been praying for years for my true roots in history.. Just recently I was reading about Benjamin sons in the Torah, Old Testament, I came across BECHER son of Benjamin..I just couldn't take my eyes off that because it reminded me so much of my name now Becker.. I am a US born citizen but my grandfather was German .. I have only records back to 1754. But even then my grandfather of that time was Jacob Becker. They claim our flag Carrie's the symbol of the House of David .. Many of our family our left handed, all hot headed lol...Can you tell me more about Benjamin's sons? Can the true roots moved into Germany? Tonya Becker

3. Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar from Esau?
Legends exist about Alexander the Great befriending the Jews but none (as far as I know) saying he was of Hebrew stock.
See:
ALEXANDER THE GREAT
By: Isaac Broyd, Kaufmann Kohler, Israel Levi
http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/1120-alexander-the-great
We traced Alexander and Julius Caesar to Esau.
Concerning Alexander, cf.
Extract from "Esau. Edomites Today"
Alexander the Great, King of Macedonia and onetime conqueror of much of the then known world claimed descent from the Temenidae from Greece. The Temenidae had come to Macedon in ca.650 BCE. The ancestor of the Temenidae was a legendary King Temenus of Argos in Greece. Argos itself according to Euripides, had been built by seven Cyclopians (i.e. giants) from Syria. Also in Macedonia was the province of Odomantica and town of Idomene. These names indicate a connection with Edom and with Temen son of Eliphaz son of Edom (Genesis 36:11).
Regarding the Edomite descent of Julius Caesar see "Esau" pp. 61 ff.
https://hebrewnations.com/publications/books/esaubook.html
Esau i.e. Edom is not necessary a negative lineage.

4. Descendants of Benjamin in Europe and Germany
There are also Jews legends about groups from Benjamin migrating to Europe BEFORE the Exile of the Ten Tribes.
One source ("Megaleh Amukot" by Rabbi Nathan Nata Spira, 1585-1633, Poland) says they founded Rome, another that they settled in Germany (Ginzberg, "Legends of the Jews"), still another that they settled in Romania (Radak, HaNatziv).
This happened after the War over the Concubine at Gibeah (Judges ch. 20) when most of Benjamin was wiped out.
We found an enclave of Benjamin among the Tribe of Manasseh. This is also confirmed by archaeology. Descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh sojourned in Germany. Though most of them later migrated to the west many also remained. The massive migration of people from Germany to the USA in 1800s onwards we have shown to have comprised many descendants of Israelites separating themselves from non-Israelites and moving away.

5. Zerah of Judah
As for Zerah from Judah.
Old British Israelite writers propagated the idea that a portion of the Tribe of Judah descended from Zareh separated from the rest of Israel and moved initially to Greek areas of Europe.

Appendix 3. Aegean Royal Lines From Zerah

Extracts:
Moreover, the first-century Roman historian Tacitus wrote: 'Some say that the Jews were fugitives from the island of Crete, who settled on the nearest coast of Africa about the time when Saturn was driven from his throne by the power of Jupiter [an apparent blending of myth with fact]. Evidence of this is sought in the name. There is a famous mountain in Crete called Ida; the neighboring tribe, the Idaei, came to be called Judaei by a barbarous [i.e., non-Greco-Roman] lengthening of the national name' (Tacitus, The Histories, Book 5, sec. 2, Great Books of the Western World , 1952, Vol. 15). So it would appear that the tribe of Judah was represented in the early Israelite immigration into Greece.
... there was another Mount Ida 'in northwestern Asia Minor, near the site of ancient Troy' ('Ida,' Encyclopaedia Britannica , 1985, Vol. 6, p. 238). A publication by the Christian Israel Foundation notes that 'perhaps the most striking evidence of an Israelitish migratory settlement in Cretan Mycenae is to be found in [renowned pioneer archaeologist] Sir Arthur Evans' monumental work, 'Mycenaean Tree and Pillar Cult,' in which it is established that Hebrew rituals were observed there . This culture moved to Asia Minor, where, behind Troy, we again find a Mount Ida (Judah), and where, as in Miletus, survived the belief in the Cretan royal descent' ( The Link , June 1989, p. 261)...
Added to the intriguing possibility is this fact from a Harvard travel publication: 'The excavated site of ancient Mycenae extends over a large tract of rough terrain tucked between Mt. Agios Elias to the north and Mt. Zara to the south' ( Let's Go Greece & Turkey , 1998, p. 146, emphasis added). In fact the royal palace sits right at the base of Mount Zara. Could Mycenaean royalty have been descended from Judah's son Zerah or Zarah, the child of the scarlet thread?
Darda, or Dara, is listed in Scripture as a son of Judah's son Zerah, the same Zerah who had received the scarlet thread upon his wrist in Genesis 38. The sons of Zerah were Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara, five of them in all (1 Chronicles 2:6). In 1 Kings 4:31, he is called Darda: 'For [Solomon] was wiser than all men, than Ethan the Ezrahite [i.e., Zerahite or Zarhite], and Heman, Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the surrounding nations.'
The writings of Sanchuniathon, as we have them, mention the Greek 'Kronos, whom the Phoenicians call Israel. He circumcised himself, and forced his allies to do the same' (I.P. Cory, Ancient Fragments , 1828). Israel, as earlier stated, was the new name given to the biblical patriarch Jacob. And the Phoenician historian further explained that this Kronos or Israel had a special son named Jehud or Yehud . This is simply a shortened form of the Hebrew Yehudah , that is, Judah:

6. Family Name "Becker"
One of the sons of Benjamin was named Bechri.
The name "Becker" is derived from a word meaning "baker" or something related to it, or to some kind of tool.
https://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?surname=becker
Becker Name Meaning. Dutch, German, Danish, and Jewish (Ashkenazic): occupational name for a baker of bread, or brick and tiles, from backen 'to bake'. English: occupational name for a maker or user of mattocks or pickaxes, from an agent derivative of Old English becca 'mattock'.
NEVERTHELESS,
It sometimes happens that newcomers to an area adopt an existing name similar to the one they formally had.
"Becher" is a surname found among Jews. It could be that a Jew who changed his religion and came to settle in a certaina rea would have chosen to use the name "Becher."

Tribe of Benjamin
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribe_of_Benjamin
" Several passages in the Bible describe tribe of Benjamin as being pugnacious .."
Benjamin
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin
According to Genesis 46:21, Benjamin had ten sons: Bela, Becher, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim, and Ard. The name of his wife/wives are not given, but the Book of Jubilees calls his wife Ijasaka and the Book of Jasher mentions two wives, Mechalia the daughter of Aram and Aribath the daughter of Shomron.[15][16] The classical rabbinical tradition adds that each son's name honors Joseph...There is a disparity between the list given in Genesis 46 and that in Numbers 46:38-41, where the sons of Benjamin are listed along with the tribes they are the progenitors of.
Belah, progenitor of the Belaites, is in both lists
Ashbel, progenitor of the Ashbelites, is in both lists
Ahiram, progenitor of the Ahiramites, appears in this list but not the first
Shupham, pregenitor of the Shuphamites, corresponds to Muppim from the first list
Hupham, progenitor of the Huphamites, corresponds to Huppim from the first list
Becher, Gera, Ehi, and Rosh are omitted from the second list. Ard and Naaman, who are the sons of Benjamin according to Genesis 46, are listed as the sons of Belah and are the progenitors of the Ardites and the Naamites respectively.
