1. Characteristics Listed Previous
In the previous article we discussed aspects of Gad as comparted to the Goths and Sweden in general.
See:
Gad, Sweden, and Rabbis -1
https://hebrewnations.com/articles/tribes/gad/gadrabis.html
Using Biblical and Rabbinical sources we found God attributed traits also present among the Ancient Goths and Swedes. This was consistent with historical research identifying these peoples with the Israeli Tribes of God and its offshoots.
We found Gad characterised as:
A Warrior Tribe concerned for Women and Children.
Public Service orientation
Egalitarian and Communally Orientation,
and other points.
We are continuing this line of inquiry but relying more on the insights of Rabbi Fishel Mael along with the sources he has collated.
This gives us more of the same as above along with some additional points such as,
Wholesomeness
Focused and Self-controlled but with some Negative Naturalistic Proclivities.

2. A Warrior Tribe
Gad is compared to a lion. He was a warrior tribe.
Gad chose to dwell where he did out of a desire to be close to Moses.
This was hinted at in the Bible.
Deuteronomy (NKJV) 33:
20 And of Gad he said:
'Blessed is he who enlarges Gad;
He dwells as a lion,
And tears the arm and the crown of his head.
21 He provided the first part for himself,
Because a lawgiver's portion was reserved there.
He came with the heads of the people;
He administered the justice of the LORD, And His judgments with Israel.'
The Tribe of Gad intuitively knew that there would be the burial place of Moses as its says, "He provided the first part for himself, Because a Lawgiver's portion was reserved there."

3. Prefers straightforward answers.
Moses was buried in the Territory of Gad even though we do not know exactly where (Deuteronomy 34:6). The Tribe of Gad prefers Torah Law as delivered directly by Moses. This is different from the present where the Torah Law is often decided by rational deduction and principles of Reasoning based on the Torah. In the future Messianic Age the Torah may be given more along the lines preferred by Gad as distinct from Judah. Elijah the Prophet was a Cohen (Priest) from the Tribe of Levi but he was a native of the area of Gad and has similarities to that Tribe. Elijah solves problems. He prefers straightforward answers.

Relevance to Brit-Am Identifications. Gad as Sweden and the Goths
https://unsettledown.com/blog/why-the-swedes-live-better
You'll see a simple, less is more mentality applied in all aspects of the Swedish lifestyle. Homes are minimalistic and elegant, transportation is efficient and effective, and the design of everything around you is pleasingly ingenious yet effortless.https://unsettledown.com/blog/why-the-swedes-live-better
... The country operates based on what makes sense. Taking care of our planet... it just makes sense. To that point, Sweden, and each of the other nordic countries, lead the rest of the world when it comes to sustainable practices.
...To the Swedish, independence and accountability are what matters

4. Tefilin: Cleanliness and Focused Intention
Gad received his blessing of strenth of arm in warfare due to punciliousness in carrying out the commandment of tefililn.
Exodus (NKJV) 13:
16 It shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt.
The commandment of Tefilin requires keeping the body clean and remaining focused on the task at hand.
Gad was notable for his clearness of thought.

9 Lagom
There is a societal code of conduct in Sweden... Loosely translated, the word lagom means 'just enough', 'in moderation', 'appropriate' and other synonyms you can pull out of the dictionary. When used in reference to societal behaviour, it means blending in appropriately without extreme displays of emotion.

be innovative as hell (Sweden is always among the world's top five innovative nations); new and better stuff is always needed, and Sweden lives in the future, because it knows that's the only possible direction where it's going;

5. Like a Lion and a Dog with a Strong Heart
Each Tribe was symbolized by an animal.
The name Gad means a young goat or lamb.
Gad was compared to a lion.
Gad also had an aspect of the dog.
In Hebrew there are different names for the lion: Gur, Kafir, Shachal, Labi (pronounced as "Lavi.").
Gad was compared to a full-grown lion, to a "Labi." The enemies of Gad were afraid of him.
The precious stone of Gad was the Achlamah which was a very hard stone.
Gad had a hard and strong heart and was not afraid in battle.
Jeroboam son of Nebat fist king of the 10 Tribes also had the attribute of dog, constantly hungry for something. He was however from the Tribe of Ephraim.
Someone who loses their self-respect and acts in a debased manner is compared to a dog.
cf.
Isaiah 56:
11 Yes, they are greedy dogs
Which never have enough.
Goliath compared himself to a dog:
1-Samuel 17:
43 So the Philistine said to David, 'Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks?' And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
Even the Hebrew name for the type of lion that Gad is likened unto, "Labi," hints at a dog.
Deuteronomy (NKJV) 33:
20 And of Gad he said:
"Blessed is he who enlarges Gad;
He dwells as a lion."
The Hebrew expression for "as a lion" is "ce-levi" uses the same letters and sounds similar to the Hebrew word for dog "calev."

7. A "Wholesome" Tribe
Gad was considered a "Wholesome" Tribe i.e. straightforward, honest, clear thinking.
====================
Relevance to Brit-Am Identifications. Gad as Sweden and the Goths
The Swedes are internationally regared as a "Wholesome" people, clean, healthtyy, efficicient, emphasing communal harmony but not neglecting acheivability.

8. Bestiality
Deuteronomy chapter 27 lists 11 curses for 11 offences. Each offence parallels (according to the Commentaries of Abarbanel and others) a certain Tribe and indicates a weakness peculiar to that Tribe.
According to Rabbi Tsadok HaCohen ("Machshavot Charuts") Gad parallels bestiality i.e. sex with animals.
Deuteronomy 27:
21 Cursed is the one who lies with any kind of animal.
'And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

In both Denmark and Norway Bestiality seems to be legally connived at. In Sweden it is not but the attitudes towards it in Sweden appears to have been somewhat lenient in the past,

9. Need for Invovlement with Community
The name Gad indicates smallness, cf. "seed of Gad." The plant known in Hebrew as "gad" is translated into Hebrew as "gad."
Exodus 16:
31 And the house of Israel called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander [Hebrew: "gad"] seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
Numbers 11:
7 Now the manna was like coriander seed [Hebrew: "gad"], and its color like the color of bdellium.
"Gad" being also the name of a plant with very small seeds is seen to reflect on the essence of Gad.
Gad has a small psyche. He feels small. He needs to combine with others, to be part of a whole. He can also live frugally if need be and be content with very little.
====================
Relevance to Brit-Am Identifications. Gad as Sweden and the Goths
Smallness of Psyche and Need for Group Participation.
The very name Gad is derived from the word "Gdud" translated as "troop" but also meaning group or collectivity.
Genesis 49:
19 Gad, a troop [Hebrew: Gdud"] shall tramp upon him, But he shall triumph [Hebrew: "Yigadenu" i,e. form a group of his own] at last.
This could reflect an aspect of Gad himself, i.e. he needs to work though his group.
We saw this above on the note concerning Coriander ("gad" in Hebrew) seed.
The Swedes also have this attribute:
What are unique traits of Swedish culture?
https://www.quora.com/What-are-unique-traits-of-Swedish-culture
Jah Amira
Collaboration and equality - working together and helping one another is a very big part of Swedish culture. Always give each other a helping hand and treat all people with equal respect. When working together, you should never degrade or leave others behind. Treat everyone the same, and kindness shouldn't be taken for granted. You should never think that you are better or more special than others (from Jante Law). It is something Swedes value most in their culture.....
Flat hierarchy - The flat hierarchy is in the Swedish work and business. There is no 'Do what I say, or else' or 'you're fired!' mentality. Bosses and managers don't rule over the workers and are seen as regular people just like everyone else. Addressing people informally is very common, and everyone is treated with equal respect, even women. ...
Strong sense of community - In Sweden, concerning for the community and helping fellow neighbors is strongly valued. Swedes generally care about the well-being of their society and everyone is ensured to have the same access to healthcare, education, etc.

ensure all of society is contributing to the economy (not poor, and not in prison); that way, everybody spends, and everybody keeps the wheels moving;
resolve problems in competent teams, and keep the hierarchy flat as a pancake (working in Sweden means joint responsibility); things get resolved better and more quickly that way.

10. Gad as Part of the Israeltie Family Picture
Gad has an aspect of the dog in both the holy and profane.
On the right side the degree of Ishmael is a serpent.
On the left side the degree of Esau is a dog (Zohar).
Concerning the Tribes in general:
The Children of Rachel (Benjamin and Joseph) were relatively clean of sexual lusts but contaminated with anger, and homicide both of which are aspects of Esau.
The Children of Leah (Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulon) were clean of homicidal tendencies but contaminated with forbidden sexual lusts, Ishmael, the serpent.
Two types of evil impulse are symbolized by the serpent, the northern and the southern, idolatry and adultery.
The Tribe of Gad physically belongs to the Children of Zilpah handmaiden of Leah but despite this he is much like the Children of Rachel.
Gilead east of the Jordan was in the Territory of Gad. It was known for homicides (Hosea 6:8).
Gilead is the name of both an area and of a city,
Hosea 6:
8 Gilead is a city of evildoers
And defiled with blood.
Elijah also had something of this quality in so far as he was known to be extra strict.
Another point, Assertiveness: Gad son of Zilpah handmaiden of Leah was together with Reuben the first born and Simeon. Both Reuben and Simaon were sons of Leah. Based on their orders of birth one might expects both Reuben and Simeon to ahve prtecedecne over Gad, nevertyheless the impression ios that it was Gad who was most assrtivive of the three.

11. Beit Peor and Gad
Numbers 25:
1 Now Israel remained in Acacia Grove, and the people began to commit harlotry with the women of Moab. 2 They invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods. 3 So Israel was joined to Baal of Peor, and the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel.
Moses was buried in a valley in the Territory of Gad just opposite Beit Peor in the Territory of Reuben.
This was in order that the death of Moses should atone for the sin of Beit Peor.
Part of the Tribe of Gad participated in sin of Beit Peor (Midrash Tanchumah).
====================
Relevance to Brit-Am Identifications. Gad as Sweden and the Goths
The worship of Beit Peor involved defecating in front of a statue.
Swedes do not do this but Nudism is widespread and taken for granted and so is love of nature.
