Summarized and Adapted from Joseph Today:
Deuteronomy 33: 15-17 promises that Joseph would be blessed with agricultural plenty, mineral resources, and the favor of God. His majesty is likened unto a bull. His horn(s) are those of a unicorn. He will reach unto the ends of the earth. This applies to both Ephraim and Manasseh.
Joseph is to be found among the peoples of the USA, and the Canadians, British, and Australians, and New Zealanders, etc.,
The British Empire once encompassed 25% of the area of the world and ruled over 20% of world population.
The USA later also determined much of world policy, influenced and aided almost every country in the world, and had direct possession or in direct control of more than 50% of the world's wealth and natural resouces.
This is well-known and statistics are available.
Britain is nick-named "John Bull" and a bull was recalled in connection with Joseph.
Deuteronomy 33:
17 As the firstborn of his bull [shoro], majesty is his,
And his horns are the horns of the [raem , unicorn];
The unicorn is mentioned above in connection with Joseph.
A lion and a unicorn are the symbols of Britain on the British Coat of Arms.
Elsewhere the lion and unicorn are recalled together in connection with Israel in the latter times [Numbers 23:22-24].
Jacob blessed Joseph (Genesis 48) and said that his name and the names of his father Abraham and Isaac would be applied to Joseph (48:16), and that they should be major influential party (Hebrew: "le-rov" translated as "multitude" ) in the world:
Genesis 48:
15 He blessed Joseph, and said,
The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,
The God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,
16 The angel who has redeemed me from all evil,
Bless the lads;
And may my name live on in them,
And the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;
And may they grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.
The Names:
The ancestors of the Hebrews were Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Jacob said:
"And may my name live on in them,
And the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac" (Genesis 48:16).
Abraham was called the Hebrew [Genesis 14:13] and "Hebrew" was a generic term for all Israelites [Jonah 1:9].

The name Saxon as in "Anglo-Saxon" derives from Isaac after being applied to their Scythian ancestors (as Zohak, Isak-golu, etc) to the Scythians who were ancestors to the Anglo-Saxons..
The name Jacob is found in the term "Yankee", and in "Union Jack", and the Scottish "Jock".
Isaiah 49:5-6 mentions the Tribes of Jacob in a context pertinent to Lost Tribes.
Isaiah 49:
6 ....To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also make You a light of the nations
So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.
Jacob was another name for Israel (Genesis 32:28, 35:10).
The main point is that Joseph (i.e. BOTH Ephraim and Manasseh) is to be identified with the English-speaking peoples, i.e. USA, Canada, Britain, Scotland, North Ireland, Ireland, England, Wales, Australia, New Zealand, and part of South Africa. These are the nations in which Joseph has been prominent and where descendants of Joseph are still to be found.
Through these nations the Promises to Joseph were fulfilled. Jacob was to received All the blessings promised to the forefathers and more (Genesis 49:22-26). Joseph was not to receive ALL of the blessings instead of the other Tribes. The other tribes were also blessed BUT Joseph was promised to receive the same bl;essings with an added intensity and quanity.
Genesis 49:
26 The blessings of your father
Have surpassed the blessings of my ancestors
Up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills;
May they be on the head of Joseph,
And on the crown of the head of the one distinguished among his brothers.
The descendants of Joseph were destined to "rule the waves" and dominate the Oceans of the World [Numbers 24:7] . Joseph was promised agricultural bounty, mineral resources, favorable climate; He was associated with a people being pushed together unto the ends of the earth (Deuteronomy 33: 13-17). The Tribes of Jacob in general are to be linked to the Ends of the Earth (Isaiah 49:6 cf. Genesis 33:13, Isaiah 41:8,9,13). They shall be a mighty sea-faring nation in many waters (Numbers 24:7); to the north and west of the Land of Israel with an offshoot in the Land of Sinim (Isaiah 49:12) which we identified with Australia and New Zealand. They shall be in 'Zaraphath' (Obadiah 1:20) which is Hebrew for France and according to Commentaries included lands (such as Britain) around it. They were also to possess mineral resources (Genesis 49:25, Deuteronomy 33:13, 15), agricultural bounty (Genesis 27:28, 49:25, Deuteronomy 33:1, 5, 13,14,16, Hosea 2:8), very large populations (Genesis 15:5, 22:17, 24:60, 32:12, Numbers 23:10, Isaiah 10:22, 24:16, 26:15 Hosea 1:10), and be blessed in other ways. All of these points of identification and more when taken together pertain to the peoples of Western Europe and concerning Joseph to the English-speaking nations. They were supposed to become the foremost military power in the world [Numbers 24:9, Micah 5:7-9] as well as the dominant entity in economic and other terms. They were to prove themselves capable of defeated the "Edomite" powers of Europe and the world (Ezekiel 25:14, Obadiah 1:18). India, Egypt, and the Suez Canal were to be controlled by them and Africans transported overseas in chains to serve them (Isaiah 43:3, 45:14). See:

An analysis of Biblical Hebrew concerning the meanings of the names of Ephraim and Manasseh shows that Ephraim exemplified "aristocratic" social-political arrangments whereas Manasseh emphasized responsible representation and the principle of Capitalism. This corresponds with the British and British offshoots as Ephraim and the USA as Manasseh.
