1. The Promised Land.
The Land of Israel was promised to the 12 Tribes of Israel, descendants of the ancient Hebrews Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (aka Israel).
Exodus (NASB) 6:4
I ALSO ESTABLISHED MY COVENANT WITH THEM, TO GIVE THEM THE LAND OF CANAAN, THE LAND IN WHICH THEY SOJOURNED.
Leviticus (NASB) 25:38
I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD, WHO BROUGHT YOU OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT TO GIVE YOU THE LAND OF CANAAN AND TO BE YOUR GOD.
1-Chronicles (NASB) 16:
17 HE ALSO CONFIRMED IT TO JACOB FOR A STATUTE,
TO ISRAEL AS AN EVERLASTING COVENANT,
18 SAYING, 'TO YOU I WILL GIVE THE LAND OF CANAAN,
AS THE PORTION OF YOUR INHERITANCE.'
Psalm (NASB) 105:
10 THEN HE CONFIRMED IT TO JACOB FOR A STATUTE,
TO ISRAEL AS AN EVERLASTING COVENANT,
11 SAYING, 'TO YOU I WILL GIVE THE LAND OF CANAAN
AS THE PORTION OF YOUR INHERITANCE.'

2. Preconditions for Living in the Land.
Living in the Land however had conditions attached to it:
They had to dive out the previous occupants:
Numbers (NKJV) 33: 55 BUT IF YOU DO NOT DRIVE OUT THE INHABITANTS OF THE LAND FROM BEFORE YOU, THEN IT SHALL BE THAT THOSE WHOM YOU LET REMAIN SHALL BE IRRITANTS IN YOUR EYES AND THORNS IN YOUR SIDES, AND THEY SHALL HARASS YOU IN THE LAND WHERE YOU DWELL. 56 MOREOVER IT SHALL BE THAT I WILL DO TO YOU AS I THOUGHT TO DO TO THEM.
They also had to keep the Law.
The Almighty gave the Land to the Israelites as their Inheritance, their Land.
Leviticus (NASB)18:
26 BUT AS FOR YOU, YOU ARE TO KEEP MY STATUTES AND MY JUDGMENTS AND SHALL NOT DO ANY OF THESE ABOMINATIONS, NEITHER THE NATIVE, NOR THE ALIEN WHO SOJOURNS AMONG YOU...28 SO THAT THE LAND WILL NOT SPEW YOU OUT, SHOULD YOU DEFILE IT, AS IT HAS SPEWED OUT THE NATION WHICH HAS BEEN BEFORE YOU.
Leviticus (NASB) 20:
22 YOU ARE THEREFORE TO KEEP ALL MY STATUTES AND ALL MY ORDINANCES AND DO THEM, SO THAT THE LAND TO WHICH I AM BRINGING YOU TO LIVE WILL NOT SPEW YOU OUT.
Note:
Sources indicate that when the Ten Tribes return they will go at first to outlying areas of the Promised Land in its extended borders, e.g. to Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, etc.
This is all part of the future Promised Land BUT its holiness is at relatively lower level.
This means that a lower degree of observance may be expected of them in the beginning.
They will therefore be able to preparer themselves.
In the Messianic era Israelites will dwell in their own Tribal Separate Portions as well as sharing in Jerusalem where the Temple will be.

3. In the future the Israelites will return to the Land.
Deuteronomy 26:
9 HE GAVE US THIS LAND, A LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY.
Deuteronomy 11:
12 IT IS A LAND THAT THE LORD YOUR GOD SEEKS OUT; THE EYES OF THE LORD YOUR GOD, ARE ALWAYS UPON IT, FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR TO THE END OF THE YEAR.
Amos 9:
14 I WILL RETURN THE CAPTIVITY OF MY PEOPLE ISRAEL, AND THEY WILL REBUILD DESOLATE CITIES AND SETTLE THEM.
Jeremiah 7:
4 YOU WILL YET PLANT VINEYARDS IN THE MOUNTAINS OF SAMARIA.
Jeremiah 32:
37 BEHOLD, I WILL GATHER THEM OUT OF ALL COUNTRIES WHERE I HAVE DRIVEN THEM IN MY ANGER, IN MY FURY, AND IN GREAT WRATH; I WILL BRING THEM BACK TO THIS PLACE, AND I WILL CAUSE THEM TO DWELL SAFELY. 38 THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE, AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD; 39 THEN I WILL GIVE THEM ONE HEART AND ONE WAY, THAT THEY MAY FEAR ME FOREVER, FOR THE GOOD OF THEM AND THEIR CHILDREN AFTER THEM. 40 AND I WILL MAKE AN EVERLASTING COVENANT WITH THEM, THAT I WILL NOT TURN AWAY FROM DOING THEM GOOD; BUT I WILL PUT MY FEAR IN THEIR HEARTS SO THAT THEY WILL NOT DEPART FROM ME. 41 YES, I WILL REJOICE OVER THEM TO DO THEM GOOD, AND I WILL ASSUREDLY PLANT THEM IN THIS LAND, WITH ALL MY HEART AND WITH ALL MY SOUL.

4. The Land belongs to the Israelite Nation.
Judah is preparing the way for the Ten Tribes.
The Ten Tribes at present cannot claim the Land as their own.

Micah 4:8 predicts that in the end times at the beginning of the return "THE FIRST DOMINION" in the final return of Israel shall be "TO THE DAUGHTER OF JERUSALEM" meaning descendants of Judah.
Micah 4:
8 AS FOR YOU, TOWER OF THE FLOCK,
HILL OF THE DAUGHTER OF ZION,
TO YOU IT WILL COME
EVEN THE FORMER DOMINION WILL COME,
THE KINGDOM OF THE DAUGHTER OF JERUSALEM.
Hosea 6:11 say that Judah will lead the way for the other Tribes and prepare the path for their return.
Hosea 6:
11 ALSO, O JUDAH, THERE IS A HARVEST APPOINTED FOR YOU,
WHEN I RESTORE THE FORTUNES OF MY PEOPLE.

5. Why the LTTs Cannot Return Now.
They are physical descendants of ancient Israelites but they are not aware of it on the whole and not interested in it.
Those who are aware of their Hebrew ancestry are not able to prove it. They have no tradition from parent to child about it.
They do not keep the Laws concerning it. Most of them do not know about it.
The Biblical proofs concerning the LTTs apply to the peoples as a whole. No individual can state that it definitely applies to them.
No-one else acknowledges the validity of the evidence they now have, i.e. from the Bible, Rabbinical Sources, Linguistics, History, etc.
There are academic and other proofs against it. Brit-Am rejects these negative claims but they exist and are acknowledged by Mainstream Sopciety.
This may change in the future.
