Thank you so much for your video. I believed for many years that the USA is the tribe of Menassah.
7 Reasons You Cannot Come to Israel
Zyelhsak
As far back as I can trace my ancestry it seems it won't matter, but I do long to be in my land, where my father was born and slain. I do long to be with my brothers and sisters (those that believe.)

2. John Tillotson: Update from the UK
In the UK here we have now moved into 'election mode' in advance of the poll on May 7. The pollsters are currently predicting a dead heat between Conservative (Tory) and Labour, but with no overall majority. The SNP are also predicted to become the third largest party holding the balance of power. Former leader Alex Salmond recently quipped that 'if you have the balance, you have the power'. They will hold any Labour govt. to ransom and have refused to work with the Conservatives. They are arrogant and their agenda is to break up the UK. They lost round 1 in the Referendum last September, but have not given up. This will now be round 2, with rounds 3 and 4 due in 2016 and 2017. Most Scots do not want to leave the Union, but these people have now got the feet under the table, not helped by the incompetence, or indeed disinterest, of some Westminster politicians.Â
They are set to replace Labour as the main party in Scotland, and therein lies the problem. Most of the time Labour cannot obtain a majority to form a government without its 40+ Scottish MPs. The SNP appeal to left-wing, anti-Tory supporters, previously loyal to Labour. They also appeal to those who want a 'voice for Scotland', emphasising the 'downtrodden Scots' as the poor relations of the Union. They promise a new utopian Scotland but don't spell out the costs or the other disadvantages. They want to ditch Trident, on the basis that nobody needs a nuclear deterrent, just like you guys, who would be perfectly safe without one! They are pro-Palestinian and egalitarian. The world will be such a wonderful peaceful place when the Scots break free from Westminster and finally put the days of 'Empire' behind them. The same PC drivel that we hear from Obama. Reality is an obsolete concept.
We are also witnessing the beginning of the rise of 'grassroots English nationalism'. Ordinary English people are getting fed up with the SNP demands and the thought of them wielding power over them. Shades of the 1745 Jacobite rebellion, which ultimately ended with a massive British govt. reaction. I read one article by a respected journalist which suggested that Salmond & co should be given Home Rule and chased back over Hadrian's Wall. The SNP have proposed linking up with Plaid Cymru (Welsh Nationalists), the Greens (who propose a citizen's wage for all and for doing nothing) and Sinn Fein (Irish Republicans in Ulster) to support (and blackmail) a Labour administration. Understandably English voters are getting rather edgy about being governed by 'foreign' parties. Ephraim is once again under serious threat.Â
We know how most of Ireland left the Union in the 1920s. I have written on this in the past. That is not dissimilar to where we are now. I feel very saddened about where my country appears to be headed, but people appear to be walking around in a fog, like their ancestors in the 8th century BCE. Â
Islam has also taken a grip. Just the other night the BBC curiously televised a drama called 'The Ark'. The story was largely taken from the Bible but with 'strains' from the Koran! Noah had 4 sons this time, one of whom was 'Canaan'. But he didn't enter the ark - he chose to stay with his 'Arabic' floosie, her lifestyle, drug habits and drowned. He was then the 'inspiration' for the name given to the son of Ham. There were not 8 saved, but about a whole village, complete with animals. Noah resembled a Liverpudlian, Labour-voting man of 'faith', complete with accent, who eventually set an example for the family and the local community to join in. In other words, not just the 'Holywood licence' of old, but a secular/Islamist version. I learned the true story of Noah as a child in school. That doesn't happen anymore. Â

3. Was Job an Edomite?
geegee asked:
Shalom,
Question, was Job the "righteous" man an Edomite?
===============================
Brit-Am Reply:
There are those who say Job was an Israelite from the Tribe of Issachar.
Genesis 46:
13 The sons of Issachar were Tola, Puvah, Job, and Shimron.
I personally think he was an Edomite.
Job lived in the Land of Uz which is associated with both Edom and Aram.
"daughter of Edom that dwellest in the land of Uz" (Lam. 4:21).
We are ourselves agree with the opinion of Iben Ezra that Job was not an Israelite but came from the northern section of Edom.
Avraham Iben Ezra says:
# [There are those who say Job] was one of the descendants of Nahor the brother of Abraham.Â
To me it seems more likely that he was from the family of Edom. This may be shown by his association with the Land of Uz ,
# Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, You who dwell in the land of Uz! # (Lamentations 4:21).
It is also unacceptable to say that he never existed [but was only parable], for we find Ezekiel [referring to him as a real historical person]
# even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it...#Â [Ezekiel 14:20]...the place of Job was near Harran [in northern Syria]. #
We discuss this issue at more length in our
Brit-Am Commentary to Job

One of the major protagonists in the Book of Job was Eliphaz the Temanite [Job 4:1] .
The Temanites were descended from Esau (Edom) who had colonies in the north as well as to the southeast of Israel.
The Land of Teman was known for its wise men (Jeremiah 49:7, Obadiah 1:8).
