1. New Month of Av. Tribe of Simeon
The Hebrew month of Av (also written as "Ab") falls on sunset of August 1 and continues till the end of sunset on August 2, 2019.
This month according to the most accepted opinions pertains to the Tribe of Simeon.
A minor view says the Tribe of Issachar.
The month of Av has two important dates within it.
The 9th of Av is when the Destruction of the First and second Temples is mourned.
The 15 th of Av ("Tu b'Av") is day of love and brotherhood. It celebrates the reconciliation of the Tribes of Israel with each other.

Recently I gave a copy of "Hebrew Bride" to a Jewish Talmudic scholar
originally from Canada but now living in Israel.
This person is well versed in Talmudic Literature and on occasion has
helped us find and clarify different sources.
He found "Hebrew Bride" interesting, well-written, easy to read,
flowing, and worthwhile.
