1. Douglas Augustine: Capt and Topics
Dear Mr. Davidiy:
I just received Brit-Am #2153 and found it to be full of interesting material.
I consider myself Christian but am not comfortable with the ignorance I see of biblical truths that are stated in what we refer to as the "Old Testament" because I do not think it is possible to completely understand the message of Jesus without a good understanding of the faith in which he was raised. Nor do I know how or why the sabbath day was changed to Sunday, why the Holy Days are all but ignored, etc., and this also makes me uncomfortable as potentially coming into conflict with the Sabbath Commandment and admonitions in the Torah that were never dispensed with as many ministers, etc. would have us believe. So naturally, Messianic Judiasm is something that interests me and I appreciated your comments on the subject. My experience with it has been different from what Tim Taylor has experienced, and they have been very helpful toward giving me an understanding of the key Holy Days and other aspects of Hebrew roots. It's partly what caused me to stop and watch your video the first time.
The other thing that caught my attention was your discussion of Capt, again in response to Tim Taylor. I cut my teeth on the subject of the Lost Tribes via a website called "Eternal Throne of David" which leaned toward the "British Israel" approach. From there I became aware of Capt's book, obtained it a couple of years ago and was very impressed with it. However, I am working my way through your own book "The Tribes" and think what you have to say on the subject is vastly superior by orders of magnitude (I'm closing in on the section about Joseph and am really looking forward to it). I certainly cannot call myself any kind of authority on the subject, but I sense what you have written will come to be regarded as the definitive work on the subject if it hasn't already.
Next, on a completely different topic, in all of the material I have seen on the Lost Tribes, nobody has addressed the practice of circumcision which is more the rule in America rather than the exception. Like every other male I grew up with in Southern California, I too am circumcized. And when my daughter was being born (before we knew she would be a girl), the hospital asked if I wanted to have the baby circumcized if a boy. I responded "yes" as my father before me had responded to the same question, and his father before him. Yet nobody knows why this practice is so common or even cares to explore the idea apart from its being "more sanitary." With this new awareness of the whereabouts of the Lost Tribes, I think the question sort of answers itself. But it does stand as a clear piece of evidence that is present on the very bodies of a majority of white American males of Western European extraction. Do you think this topic warrants some attention?
Finally, Bumble Bee's question about the 50 stars on the American flag was interesting. Unfortunately, there was no answer to it.
I'll close here with kind regards.

2. Roy Garland: Your work ... has been very helpful
Re: Brit-Am Now no. 2153 Ten Tribes Studies.
Dear Yair
I have appreciated your articles and your honest and fair approach to these issues. I think I did say to you that I am not a believer in what is called British Israelism here although I know you teach something different.
My particular interest arose after coming in contact with local BI people who were anti-Jewish to some extent. Many years ago I heard some discuss the Protocols of the Learned Elders. When I realised what these were I was horrified. Jews were not considered by my friends to be true Jews but British people were thought to be true Israelites.
Your work as I expected rejects such ideas and has been very helpful . My impression is that some former anti-Jewish people no longer take that view - at least I hope so....
I wish you and yours every blessing.
Kind regards
Roy (Garland)

Hebrews in Germany
Duration: 18.06 minutes
Germany is not an Israelite nation. It is sometimes against the Israelite Peoples. In the past there were many Israelites in Germany but they mostly migrated to North America as indicated by sociological and other studies and confirmed by Scripture.
