1. Criticism from a Pastor and Brit-Am Reply

Please stop this continuous begging for money. It is very unbecoming and demonstrates a lack of faith on your part. If you are doing the Creator's work then He shall inspire the funds to be sent to you without the need to solicit. If you are going to continue in this "begging" please remove me from your list.
I have been in ministry for 15+ years. I have been full time through most of it. I have never solicited funds. My God has always provided.
Either you trust God or you don't. If He is not providing for you financially then you should seek Him immediately and ask Him what you need to do that you are not doing or what you need to stop doing that is not pleasing to Him.
Sincerely,
S.

Shalom,
It is not clear whether you are referring to the intermittent appeals that we send out regularly or to the plug for donations that has recently been appearing at the top of all our postings.
At all events, message taken.
We will not stop our appeals altogether but we shall probably tone it down. Lately the more requests we make the less we seem to receive anyway.
We received a similar message from another pastor some time ago.
It is good to receive feedback even when it is critical. Thank you for your opinion. You have a point.
The comparison with yourself however does not appear to be really fair.
I looked your church up on the web. It appears to be a daughter organization of the Baptists. This is one of the largest and richest congregations in the USA, if not in the world.
Before you began your service you were probably guaranteed a regular stipend that would have been at least more or less sufficient to maintain a family and perhaps more.
Whatever you or your church received beyond that you could plow back into your ministry. You may have made your career choice after rational consideration.
On the other hand, our own work for Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations was in a sense thrust upon us from Above.
We started out in a vacuum. There was no precedent for it: No supportive organization, no funds, no previous experience, no mentors, nothing but a hostile suspicious world. We had to publish and market our own works and find our own audience and maintain ourselves under our own stream while constantly endeavoring to reach out to those whom we thought needed and should therefore have appreciated our message.
It was not all negative. Divine Providence did help us. Others here and there provided some support. We merited from heaven to receive information and insights of value. We still do.
Information and instruction in basic use media tools etc, also arrived from a variety of sources. Our publications sold and are still selling slowly but steadily. People do give, sometimes quite well and at other times rather modestly.
Other researchers send us information and insights along with what we too come across. We are also helped in marketing. A de facto ad hoc network of fellow thinkers is emerging from the ground up. Look at the Hebrew Nations Facebook page, or at the Yair Davidiy YouTube Station and comments made, and at correspondence with this e-mail list.
We achieved some things. Much of the information is now in the public domain. Many people became acquainted with what we had to say.
The message has been going out.
For the time being we are going ahead as we can with what we have.
We will see what happens.
It should also be noted that we believe in our message for its own sake.
Divine Providence wants us to spread it.
We have an obligation to do what we can.
We should do what we can.
We also genuinely believe that they who help us are doing something that should be done and shall be rewarded.
Nevertheless, what exactly we should do and how much we should try and in what direction is not always clear.
Therefore thank you for your comments.
May God bless you
Yair

Tom Miller:
Thank you, Yair, for such a quick reply to my inquiry, can you perhaps tell me how much of the material in this book is considered accurate and how much may be exaggerated legend?,since the stories seem to fill in a lot of detail and even make since where the Bible is more general to some events.
Thank you
Tom.

Brit-Am Reply:
I have a copy of the book but have only glanced at it.
It is probably mainly positive.
If you feel you benefit from it read it all but maintain a degree of reservation as to its veracity.
This is how we learn and move forward.
God bless you
Yair

3. Bible Studies to continue. The Book of Proverbs 17:1-9
God willing , we shall continue our regular Biblical Studies.
At present in the Book of Proverbs we have covered up to Proverbs 17:1-9
http://hebrewnations.com/articles/bible/proverbs/proverbs17.html
Proverbs 17:
1 Better is dried-up bread if contentment is with it,
than a house full of feasting with strife.
Try not to quarrel. It is not worth it. Many couples argue over money. We are being warned not to.
2 A slave who acts well will rule over a child who causes shame,
and will share the inheritance amongst the family members.
No matter what your station do what you can as well as you can.
Sooner or later your efforts will be requited forn the better.
3 The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold,
but the LORD will be testing the heart.
We are sometimes put to the test for our own good.
4 An evildoer hearkens to wicked lips;
Falsehood feeds on a pernicious tongue.
In general avoid Conspiracy Theories and the like. This does not mean letting oneself be mislead by the mainstream media. It is all a question of emphasis and agenda.
5 Those who mock the poor revile their Maker;
those who are glad at calamity will not go unpunished.
Do not look down at others who are less fortunate than yourself. Try not to think badly of others. At the least do not wish them ill.
6 A crown for the aged are grandchildren,
and the glory of children are their forebears.
We should strengthen ourselves in our families. Those who still can bear children should endeavor to do so.
7 Fine speech is not becoming to an ingrate;
still less is false speech to a benefactor.
Someone who has money, power, or influence should stand by their word.
8 A precious stone is a bribe in the eyes of its owners;
wherever it turns it succeeds.
9 One who conceals an affront fosters friendship,
but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.
If you heard something offensive about oneself or about others it may be better to ignore it. Do not take offence where offence may not have been intended. People sometimes say things they do not mean. Even if someone did intend to make offence perhaps you can live with it? Maybe treating the matter with good humor is the wisest strategy?
