re
Yair, I was reading Brit Am 2183 and read the comments by the pastor who took you to task for asking for money. Well, I have an issue with the good pastor. First of all, all charitable, non-profit organizations survive on donations. The Salvation Army has been ringing bells at Christmas time to help the poor and needy. If you don't ask for donations, how will the people who belong to Brit Am know about the continuing need? They will probably just assume that all is well and that you are independently wealthy. I hope that the good pastor is a faithful contributor to Brit Am on a monthly basis. If not, then, he is a hypocrite with a capital H. There are many scriptures in the Bible about putting money into G-d's storehouse. Brit Am is a part of G-d's storehouse because the work that is being done is the most pivotal and prophetic work that will happen from now until Moshiach comes. For me, I would disregard the good pastor's comments. To me, they were very
insulting and condescending. He said that if you continue "begging" for me to remove him from your list. I highly recommend that you remove him from the mailing list because we don't need these kinds of arrogant people creating rancor with Brit Am. Shalom v'b'richot, Bill Rasmussen

Greetings, Yair--
As a pastor myself, and a long-time reader of your posts and books, I want to thank you most warmly for your kind and gracious and humble response to Pastor S. His point may have been legitimate, but out of ten recipients of such a rather hard-ball criticism, I can imagine 9.75 taking offense and replying pretty negatively. You didn't do that, and I applaud you for it. And may the God of Israel prosper your work yet more in 2014. The message is worth it, and you deserve His blessing.
Tim Murray

3. Stephen Phillips: A Slightly Different Ascription of Israelite Tribal Emblems
Re: Tribal Emblems. Brit-Am Now no. 2178. Ten Tribes Studies
Yair
I thought that the following excerpt from Geoffrey Keating might be of interest to you:-
# From this example the posterity of Sru always made use of banners and coats of arms, as an honourable distinction of their families; and this account is confirmed by the annals of Leath Cuin, which is supported by the additional testimony of the book called Leabhar Leatha Cuin, in this manner. The author, treating upon this subject, gives this account of the coats of arms of the twelve tribes: the tribe of Reuben had a mandrake painted upon their banners; Simeon, a spear; Levi, the ark; Judah, a lion; Issachar, an ass; Zebulun, a ship; Naphtali, a deer; Gad, a lioness; Joseph, a bull; Benjamin, a wolf; Dan, a serpent; and Asher, a branch of a vine.€ General History of Ireland p.167, Keating, (translated by Dermod O'Connor), Dublkin 1861.

[Sru is descried as a grandson of Niul. We consider this name a form of Israel. It says his banner depicted the staff of Moses and a serpent]
There are one or two slight differences (as highlighted) between this and the version which is preserved in the Jewish Encyclopedia (article on Flag.

Hi Yair,
Good for you understanding you need to tone down your request for funds. As you say, the more you ask, the less you receive.
And good for you for pointing out the minister's duplicity. It's easy for him to object in his well-paid career choice.
I wish I could help you financially. You're about the only person I'd be willing to support if I had the means.
Your friend,
Abraham

5. Mark Buggy: G-d will provide for Bit-Am

Extracts:
... Israel are a people bound together by familial ties. ... Brit-Am's research and message has been invaluable to countless people across the world waking up to their Israelite identity. We only become aware of another's need if their cry is heard. Is this not the way G-d responded to Israel just prior to the Exodus? He heard their cry, and remembering His covenant with their forefathers he responded in faithfulness. Moses was sent to be their deliverer. G-d used another living being filled with His spirit to bring relief. .. assisting the needy is known in Judaism as TZEDAKAH. Tzedakah means justice. ... We have all benefited from Brit-Am's research and publications, are they not worth their due? ... G-d will provide for Bit-am through all those whose hands are open to give. He has heard their cry and He will respond. This however is not the end of the matter for those of us who have heard their cry and are in a position to help but choose not to for whatever rationalization obstructs us from doing what is right. I pray that if/when we are ever in a place calling out for help that the rationalizing of others will not keep food from our table. Please do not stop crying out Brit-Am, G-d will make sure that there will always be someone to answer your call.
Blessings,
Mark & Shoshannah

What Would You Like to hear About?
We have 255 uploads as of today. These talks now account for about a third of our outreach span. New talks need to go out quite regularly in order to maintain and enhance the overall effect.
Please send us requests for specific subjects you would like to hear about. Your request will be treated with respect and consideration. This does not mean it will necessarily be acted upon straight away. It could however be of help to us.

I just accessed the URL of a mainstream highly respectable very successful highly-budgeted organization.
The screen went dark except for a square of prominent red background with black lettering saying DONATE NOW!
I pressed the necessary button and the message went away. But it had been delivered.
They maintain themselves through offerings.
So do we. So does nearly everybody else.
If you already give to others consider giving also to us.
If you do not give then perhaps you should. Start with us.
Step up to the fore.
This too is heroism.
