1. Hebrew Nations and the Holiday Season
Please Make an Offering to Brit-Am:
http://hebrewnations.com/contributions/offerings.html
http://www.britam.org/contribute-Brit-Am.html
Recently the USA Europe and Australia etc celebrated a holiday season.
As far as offerings and purchases are concerned this period is always relatively difficult for us and for other groups like our own.
This time it comes on top of a downward trend that had already seriously knocked us back.
We had slightly intensified our already frequent appeals etc and consequently received a protest about it.
The complaint in itself was nothing serious and did not come from anyone who as far as we know had ever given us anything or intended to. It may also have been partly motivated by other considerations. Nevertheless it did reflect a widespread feeling. We therefore agreed to tone our requesting down somewhat.
This did not make the problem of lack of funds go away.
Maybe we are lacking in complete faith?
Perhaps there is something wrong with our message or with how we deliver it?
Several possibilities exist.
I prefer to see our lack of funds as a mutual failing.
Our audience is not large but neither are the numbers insignificant.
In the past we have been helped on occasion quite well.
The possibility is there.
People can give.
Followers and subscribers of Brit-Am/Hebrew nations can give even better when they so wish.
We owe money on our rent and have serious problems due to lack of funds.
In other ways the Almighty has blessed us.
The message goes out.
We need you to believe in the message and help us continue to spread it.
Descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel are now mainly amongst Western Nations.
We prove it from the Bible, from Rabbinical sources, from archaeology, mythology, historical studies, and other fields.
In some ways our findings are unique and exclusive to us.
We should continue.
Help us to do so.
We believe that they who assist us shall be blessed from heaven.
This is not a small matter.
May the God of Israel bless you
Yair Davidiy

2. Bill Rasmussen: Resistance to Brit-Am Beliefs from both Jews and Christians
Shalom Yair, I have been on a forum on Facebook that you have to be invited to. It is made up mostly of Jewish people in Israel and abroad, but also Christian Zionists. There was a lively discussion that seemed to lend itself to the Lost Tribes. I might add that I never just throw out discussion on the Tribes willy nilly. Anyway, when I brought it up, I was immediately and extensively attacked. First was a Christian who lectured me on why this was an impossibility because he had studied the Bible for a long time. Then, other Christians and Jews joined in and proceeded to lambast me. It would appear that we have much work ahead of us because at the moment, broaching the mission of Brit Am is going to bring a lot of hostility. Many Christians don't like it because it doesn't neatly fall into their tidy little package of dispensations and how Christians will rule supreme. Nor is it welcomed by many Jews who see this as an attempt to proselytize Jewish people with a Christian message. I am absolutely baffled by the response I got. Worse, I am surprised by the open hostility to the notion that there are other tribes extant today besides just Judah. I say all of this because anyone who thinks Israel and the Christian world are ready for a massive emigration to Israel to beef up support are sadly mistaken. Most Jews at the moment do not want Gentiles moving to Israel, regardless if they think themselves Israelites or not. And, I can see that there will be a lot of Christian hostility as well as some consider this teaching a cult.
I feel that we have much to do and many years ahead of us. Those of us who belong to Brit Am need to continue to fund and pray for this mission. You need to continue to research and teach about the mission of Brit Am. Together, with due diligence, we may all see a paradigm shift in the way both Christians and Jews view the Lost tribes. Shalom, v'b'richot, Bill Rasmussen

3. Charles Calahan: Remarks on Tea Tephi
The critics of the Tea Tephi connection have some valid points , however they also have erroneously stated as fact mistaken information . One is that the Milesian invasion of Ireland to place in 1699 AD . This information come from the 'Four Masters' who were Roman Catholic monks . They realized some of the joint reigns but did not recognize other joint reigns . They and other writers such as O' Flaherty also correctly recognized the various Scythian and Parthian ( Partholan ) groups settling in Ireland before 630 BC . In fact Phoenician ships carried settlers from Israel even before king Solomon's time . They were called the Tin Islands because they furnished tin so it could be mixed with copper to make brass . when Milesius sent his sons ( Clan na -mile- ) to invade Ireland around 580 BC they were fighting Tautha de Danans Israelites . Heremon and Heber reigned jointly for one year and Heremon killed Heber . In the book 'The Book of Tephi' on the bottom of page 5 it mentions books by YAIR DAVIDY . The original translator of the original GAELGE of the legend of QUEEN TEPHI by J. A. Goodchild 'as it has been sung by the bards of Ireland for centuries '. It is very revealing and supportive of Tephi , Baruch and the Prophet . Numerous scriptures support the Tea Tephi story and critics want to ignore them . If Tephi is not one of the kings daughters that are mentioned in Jeremiah 43:5-8 that escaped and went to Tahpanhes Egypt . Then warned by Jeremiah not to stay in Egypt to escape Jer. 45 :14 In a previous look into the future God told Jeremiah the prediction a small remnant would escape 'And I will make you to pass with your enemies into a land which you know not '. Jer. 11-14 . THEN WHO IS ???

Brit-Am Reply:
The case concerning Jeremiah and Tea Tephi is summarized at:
ZEDEKIAH'S DAUGHTERS
http://biblestudy.bb3host.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3
There are articles against this.
Personally I find the story of Tea Tephi not convincing.
Also, What is the Big Deal?
What difference does it make?
Descent from King David passes through the MALE line, and not the female one.

4. Question from an American of probable Jewish Descent who cannot come to Israel
A wrote:
Shalom Yair, This will sound like a strange request coming from an American. My Mother was adopted, she never knew she was adopted. She died when i was 3, my Aunt told me she was adopted. After a lot of searching on ancestry.com and jewishgen.org. I was pretty sure i have Jewish ancestry, so i took a Maternal dna test from familytreedna.com. Results said i and my Mother are Czech Ashkenazi Jewish. Applied for Aliyah, was rejected, to old to join IDF. Do you have any other suggestions, like applying for refugee status or asylum or any other ideas. I can't prove my Mother was Jewish because she was adopted. I want to come home, and considering our current President's antisemitic treatment of Israel. I know judgment is coming on America. Todah Rabah in advance for your help. Sincerely A.

Brit-Am Reply:
Shalom,
As you mention, you have already tried to make aliyah through the official channels but have not succeeded. You now probably know as much or more than I do on the subject.
There are millions of Jews in the USA and millions more of Gentiles of Jewish origin or partly Jewish ancestry. Many of them would have trouble proving their ancestry. The problem of such people in the USA involves the Lost Ten Tribes. The two subjects are bound together as we have explained in the past.
On a personal level there is nothing much we can suggest to you.
We all need to strengthen our adherence to Biblical Principles and Biblical knowledge.
Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations is trying very hard to do something for the Ten Tribes and for descendants of captive Jews in the West.
We feel that in most ways we are the only ones doing anything and that very few are helping us.
God bless you
Yair

(a) Poor response to Latest Appeal
Response to our latest appeal was very low. One person sent us $40 which will help especially now where every cent is more important than ever. So far that is the only response we received.
Our immediate needs reach several thousands and more. It is a lot of money to try and raise but for the enterprise we run that is what the costs are.

(b) Letters of interest received still to be posted and new article in preparation.
We received several letters of importance and interest. We will try to send them out in the next issue.
We are also preparing an article (in response to queries made) concerning the Duty or lack of it of descendants of the Ten Tribes to Keep the Law in our time.

(c) Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations is probably the only body working on behalf of the Ten Tribes according to Biblical Identification.
We repeat what we said in our reply to item #4 above.
We feel that in most ways we are the only ones doing anything and that very few are helping us.
