1. THE BRITISH SENSE OF MISSION AS A RULING PEOPLE
A PARTIAL TYPE OF ISRAEL'S MILLENNIAL REIGN AND SERVICE TO MANKIND, THE EMPIRE'S "UNFINISHED BUSINESS"
By Craig M White Version 1.6

Brit-Am Preliminary Note:
We have skimmed through this article by Craig White. We may go back over it later.
It contains important information and valuable references. It also supports a major theme in our studies about the Ten Tribes.
The Israelites were exiled, lost their identity, yet benefited from the blessings etc in order to elevate the rest of humanity.
Just because we refer to a source of information or even recommend the work of someone else does not mean that we agree with them on every detail.
I mention this point because lately we have been taken to task over the content of other sources that we referred to or quoted from.
Anyway, here are the contents of the article by Craig White:

2. Answer to Claims Made Against Brit-Am Article on the Physical Appearance of Ancient Hebrews.
Alan Herman wrote:
Hi, some of your photos on your site are incorrect! According to archeologists, there is no mention of Israelites ever being in Egypt! Not a single inscription or wall painting!  Secondly, the pictures of so called Israelites being taken into exile by Assyrian are actually BEDOUINS! Their skeletons have been found in Lachish! Regards Al.

Shalom,
We received an identical email from someone called Wally. Perhaps you are one and the same person or you are both quoting a third source?
You are referring to the pictures in our article,
Hebrew Pictures
http://www.britam.org/HebrewTypes.html
The picture in question is well-known and often reproduced in books about Ancient Egypt etc. It is often described as depicting Hebrew slaves.
The Israelites in Egypt were known mostly as Hebrews.

Hebrews in Egypt - Slaves and Plagues - Extra-Biblical Proof!
By Aaron Kolom

extract:
Slaves building monuments in Egypt - Papyrus, Leiden #348, "Distribute grain to the Habirus (or Apiru - Hebrews) who carry stones to the great pylon of Rameses," Mural paintings indicate starving men with prominent spavined ribs.)
An Austrian dig of dwellings and tombs at Tel-ed-Daba, Egypt, in 1989, discovered ancient cities near Goshen. Data from 800 drill cores gave evidence of a large number of Asian, non-Egyptian slaves; eleven levels at the site indicate many generations during the 12th and 13th Egyptian dynasties {compatible in duration and time period to the Biblical history of the Hebrew sojourn as slaves in Egypt}:
The Brooklyn Papyrus 35.1446, tells of the reign of Pharaoh Sobekhotep, containing over 95 names of slaves, more than half are Semitic, seven being Biblical names {including the name of one of the two midwives named in the Bible, "Shiphrah"},
As for Lachish I do not know what you are talking about. Whatskeletons are you referring to?
Did you actually look at our article?
cf.
Siege of Lachish
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Lachish
# The siege and capture of the town of Lachish, one of the fortress towns protecting the approaches to Jerusalem, is unique in that it is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible (II Kings 18; II Chronicles 32)( MICAH 1:13 ) and in the Annals of the Assyrian king, Sennacherib. Not only that but the event is depicted on the walls of Sennacherib's palace at Nineveh.[3] #
Quote: # Judean captives being led away into slavery by the Assyrians after the siege of Lachish in 701 B.C. This relief is important for the knowledge of Judean dress.# End Quote.
