scythians are slavs, R1a DNA is the majority slavic DNA, R1b is the majority west european DNA, majority scythian corpses are of R1a, and mongol-chines type. the R1b represents the absolute minority of scythian DNA. so sorry rabbi, you are wrong. also the scythians actually supported the babylonians in capturing the israelites. so? how could the Israelites establish the scythian empire again? scythians did eat pork, but did not farm pigs, so wrong again.

Even if for some reason we would have been mistaken about the Scythians the principle remains: The Lost Ten Tribes are to be found amongst Western Nations. This is what Scripture says and this is the reality. How did they get there? There are several possibilities. The bottom line is that they did. The Cimmerians and Scythians are still the best candidates as we have shown. Their presence in the Middle East and subsequent movement to the west coincides with what Scripture and historical sources tell us about the Ten Tribes.
The term Scythian was later applied to all the inhabitants of northern Eurasia. Those of the Scythians who were Israelites apparently included the Royal Scythians and a few other groups, not necessarily the others. There was a Scythian presence amongst the so-called Celts and also within the so-called Barbarian and Germanic hordes. This is now acknowledged by mainstream academic historians.
DNA studies of Scythian remains so far have been taken from a few remains on the outskirts of China and Mongolia and ancient Siberia.
Those of Siberia show a white fair-eyed fair-haired populations whose Y (male) DNA is similar to that of East Europeans while the womenfolk are of mixed origins.

These samplings are not sufficient and do not necessarily reflect the Scythians we are speaking of.
In addition, our understanding of DNA and what determines it is inadequate despite claims to the contrary. The environment definitely does have some influence.
It is also worth noting that the Khazars were considered both Classical Scythians and Hebrews by their peers.
Groups in Central Asia etc, such as the Bashkirs and Kazaks who were associated with the Khazars have a high percentage of YDNA R1b similar to west Europeans. They were also once Caucasian in appearance though now appear Mongolian? How is that?
Your claim that the Scythians supported the Babylonians in conquering Jerusalem is probably based on the finding of Scythian type arrowheads in the ruins of Jerusalem from the relevant period. The problem is that the Babylonians used the same type of arrowhead as the Scythians previously had. A mould for making such arrowheads has been found in excavations of Babylon.
Who says the Scythians ate pork? The account of Herodotus reads as if they abhorred it.
Incidentally I might look to outsiders like a Rabbi but that is not what I am. If I was I would be proud of it and there are members of my family who may bear that title.

3. Asher and Naphtali as Minorities: Repetition of a Biblical Pattern?
In the Book of Judges chapter 1 we read how several of the Israelite Tribes did not drive outr all the canaaanites as they had been commanded to. They left Canaanite enclaves in their territories.
In most cases the text reads as saying that the Canaanites remained as subject minorities. Concerning the Tribes of Asher and Naphtali however the case is different. They were in the minority.
cf.
Judges 1:
19 The Lord was with Judah, and he took possession of the hill country, but could not drive out the inhabitants of the plain, because they had chariots of iron.
21 But the Benjaminites did not drive out the Jebusites who lived in Jerusalem; so the Jebusites have lived in Jerusalem among the Benjaminites to this day.
27 Manasseh did not drive out the inhabitants of Beth-shean and its villages, or Taanach and its villages, or the inhabitants of Dor and its villages, or the inhabitants of Ibleam and its villages, or the inhabitants of Megiddo and its villages; but the Canaanites continued to live in that land. 28 When Israel grew strong, they put the Canaanites to forced labour, but did not in fact drive them out.
29 And Ephraim did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites lived among them in Gezer.
30 Zebulun did not drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, or the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Canaanites lived among them, and became subject to forced labour.
We see above Judah, Benjamin, Manasseh, and Ephraim leaving Canaanites amongst them.
Compare this with Asher and Naphtali:
31 Asher did not drive out the inhabitants of Acco, or the inhabitants of Sidon, or of Ahlab, or of Achzib, or of Helbah, or of Aphik, or of Rehob; 32but the Asherites lived among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land; for they did not drive them out.
33 Naphtali did not drive out the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh, or the inhabitants of Beth-anath, but lived among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land; nevertheless the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh and of Beth-anath became subject to forced labour for them.
It would appear that the Tribes of Asher and Naphtali remained as minorities within their own lands.
We identify Asher as several entities in the British Isles. We have lately remarked ont he apparent dominance of the Tribe of Asher in Ireland.
See:
THE Tribe OF ASHER IN IRELAND.
http://www.britam.org/AsherIre.html
Naphtali we found in Norway.
See:
Tribal Identifications: Naphtali
http://britam.org/naphtali.html
Could it be that here too these tribes remain in a minority position?
Even though our identifications are basically correct?
In Ireland the people are not really anti-Jewish. They seem however to have an almost pathological obsession against the State of Israel.
The same hold for Norway. Norway was once a friend of the State of Israel. Now it seems strongly agaisnt us. Also anti-Jewish sentiments are accepted there.
Is this the reason?
History, as given in Scripture, repeating itself?
