1. The Tribe of Joseph as the Future Savior.
Midrash Shemot (Exodus\0 1:5.
re
Exodus 1:
1 NOW THESE ARE THE NAMES OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL WHO CAME TO EGYPT; EACH MAN AND HIS HOUSEHOLD CAME WITH JACOB: 2 REUBEN, SIMEON, LEVI, AND JUDAH; 3 ISSACHAR, ZEBULUN, AND BENJAMIN; 4 DAN, NAPHTALI, GAD, AND ASHER. 5 ALL THOSE WHO WERE DESCENDANTS OF JACOB WERE SEVENTY PERSONS (FOR JOSEPH WAS IN EGYPT ALREADY). 6 AND JOSEPH DIED, ALL HIS BROTHERS, AND ALL THAT GENERATION.
In Hebrew Joseph is pronounced as "Yosef." The name cam also mean "AND HE WILL ADD."
The Midrash says on the name "Yosef:"
He was so called since the Almighty is destined to add on (continue) and once again redeem Israel (only this time) from the Evil Empires (Edom, etc) in the same way that HE redeemed them from Egypt.
as it says:
Isaiah 11:1
1 It shall come to pass in that day
That the LORD shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,
From Assyria and Egypt,
From Pathros and Cush,
From Elam and Shinar,
From Hamath and the islands of the sea..
The expression,
"That the LORD shall set His hand again the second time"
In Hebrew it says "YOSiF" (i.e. Joseph) meaning literally "will add" i.e. the Almighty will add HIS HAND a second time to save Israel..
The Midrash relates this to Joseph.

Extracts:
One of the world's most celebrated authors, James Joyce, even hints at Shakespeare's Judaism in his famous book Ulysses. When John Wyse Nolan reaches for his Shakespeare book he says, "I'll say there is much kindness in the Jew."

3. King Henry VIII and the Talmud

by David Sedley
Extracts:
a Christian scholar named Daniel Bomberg had printed the first complete set of the Talmud just a few years earlier. It was Bomburg who created the chapter and verse numbers that we all take for granted now, when he published his "Mikra'ot Gedolot" Bible (Biblical |Text with selected commentaries) a few years before that.
Henry ordered a copy of the nine-volume Talmud from Venice, hoping it would support his claim to have the marriage annulled. As it happened, Henry actually married Anne in 1532 before the nine volumes of Talmud arrived, so they were never used and remained in mint condition for hundreds of years.
By the way, the set of Talmud that Henry ordered was eventually discovered by Jack Lunzer in Westminster Abbey. After almost 25 years of failed attempts, Lunzer managed to purchase Henry VIII's Talmud from the Abbey in 1980.
This same set of Talmud sold in 2015 for over $9 million. But that is another story.
