1. Alexander Zephyr: In Defence of Mitt Romney.
Dear Sir,
Here is a little comment from a stranger (a simple worker from Canada) concerning Mitt Romney. Democrats and the
liberal pro-Obama press are upset that this candidate for the Presidency of the USA dares to call things as they are. They cannot
stand the truth. Their smearing campaign against Romney is full of distortions, phrase- mongering, and a disgusting flow of words. Is it
not true that 47% of Americans do not paying Income Taxe and are dependant on the Government? Romney understands that some categories of
these people are very legitimate and deserve the help of Government, for example war-veterans, the temporally unemployed, and pensioners. On the other hand
there are many Americans who do not want work, who are satisfied with their dependent existence, and believe that the Government has a responsibility to care for
them. This category of the people may be called 'parasites'. They produce nothing for society; they only consume. Every year their appetites
grow more and more. They are not satisfied with what Government gives. They want more, the redistribution of the wealth of the rich,
as we witnessed recently in the so called 'Occupy' movement. The Obama Administration supports their ideas because in a democratic society the more
you give and promise to such people, the more votes you receive for reelection. This policy will not fix a thing. The economy, unemployment, national debt , everything will lead to crisis and collapse. This is the course of President Obama. A Democratic society with such a huge masses of 'parasites' will not last long. It
is a sign of rottenness, laziness, and corruption, and will be doomed for fall and destruction.
Actually, what Romney plans to do is what democratic President Kennedy once proclaimed,
"Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country".
Romney does not promise 47% of Americans golden mountains and rivers of milk and honey. He is a realist. He wants to take this group of people out of misery by building up the economy, and eliminating unemployment: To send them to work that they may contribute to society and be proud of their achievement. This is the
honest essence of the Romney message. Romney beliefs that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the State, but from the hand of God.
Not everybody like his message. They unjustly criticize him for everything he said. It is a shame, according to those people, to be rich and successful. They do not not realize that the gross burden of taxes, which help to sustain these 47% of Americans and their Government, is paid by the rich and successful.
Concerning International policy, when Romney says that there will not be peace in the Middle East between the Jews and the Palestinians because the
Palestinians will not accept the rights of the Jews to live in the Land of their fathers, the same opponents utter the repulsive cry that he is taking the side of the Jews instead of the Obama policy of appeasement of the Arab world. Is it not that he is telling the truth? The Arabs do not want a Two States solution. They want one Arab state in place of Israel.
Concerning Iran, Romney does not wish to repeat history as with North Korea, where diplomatic efforts, economical sanctions and
even a threat of military attack have been failed. N. Korea ignored everything, built atomic weapon and joined the 'Nuclear Club' of world
powers.
There are two ways for the future of America:
(1) The Obama way which has no future and may lead to more problems and a deeper crisis;
and (2) The Mitt Romney way which will lead to restoration, prosperity and a bright future.
Like President Kennedy, Romney appeals to the American People:
Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country".

2. Obama Equates Israelis with Arab Terrorists.
Obama is our enemy, make no mistake about it
by Ulsterman on September 12, 2012
Extract:
Prime Minister Netanyahu, when last at the White House and during an extended period of private conversation with 'Obama', implored the president to be far more forceful in his public comments regarding the United State's devotion to Israel's safety and protection and its very right to exist. Netanyahu warned the president that his administration's half-hearted gestures of friendship to Israel were in fact emboldening the more radicalized elements in the Middle East and thus endangering not only Israeli lives, but the lives of everyone in that part of the world. And then he also remarked this condition would further endanger American citizens within the United States as well, that the capitulation policies of the American government in the 1990s were instrumental in forming the attack of September 11th, 2001.
Obama's reaction to these words were, 'agitation followed by derision'. The president then leaned toward the Prime Minister and said:
"You have just as much blood on your hands as they do. They got a right to exist as well. Everybody does. And I don't want this thing, this back and forth, you and them. I don't want this turning into an election issue for me, right? I can't be telling those people how to treat your country any more than you want me telling you how to treat them, right? You see where I 'm at in this?
Don't  you turn this into something that might take away Jewish votes for me. That's what you got going here. I know what you're up to. Don't do it. This thing, Iran, don't try, don't hurt me politically with it. You need us. We don't need you."

STRATEGIC REPORT 7
2012 by The Washington Institute for Near East Policy
Extracts:
Israel is a bulwark against radical Islamism in the Levant, as embodied by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and a quiet but effective ally of Jordan. U.S. military support helps bolster Israeli deterrence against hostile state and nonstate actors, while military equipment pre-positioned in Israel, valued at nearly $1.2 billion, is available to support U.S. contingencies in the eastern Mediterranean and Persian Gulf. Likewise, Israel continues to serve as a testing ground for advanced weapons and war-fighting concepts, many of which are eventually employed by the United States. Washington, for its part, is still seen as an address for Arabs seeking to influence Israeli policies, while Israel is still seen as an address for some Arabs seeking to influence Washington.
Israel is the only de facto nuclear weapons state in the region. While Israel's bomb may have contributed to initial, unsuccessful attempts at nuclear proliferation by Egypt, Libya, and Syria, its policy of opacity also made it easier for some of these countries to subsequently forgo nuclear weapons. And its policy of prevention in the region has precluded the emergence of additional nuclear weapons states in Iraq (1981) and Syria (2007) at least thus far.
The relationship with Israel has not been without risks for Washington, or without costs for the United States in terms of its standing in Arab and Muslim states. The 1973 October War nearly led to a confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union, while the emergency resupply of Israeli forces during the war prompted an Arab oil embargo. The 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon led to an ill-fated U.S. intervention in Lebanon and helped catalyze the emergence of Hizballah, which has targeted both U.S. and Israeli interests. American support for Israel during the first and second intifadas, the 2006 war against Hizballah, and during the 20082009 war in Gaza reinforced negative attitudes against the United States in many Arab states. Likwise, U.S. support for Israel has been used by al- Qaeda as a central theme in its propaganda. Apart from these cases, however, the impact of American support for Israel on U.S. interests has been quite limitedand nowhere near as great as the costs of U.S. policy in the Persian Gulf.
The United States has given Israel extensive diplomatic, economic, and military support, committed to preserve Israel's 'qualitative military edge,' granted it 'major non-NATO ally' status, signed a free-trade agreement with the Jewish state, and has provided Israel with substantial military and economic aidtopping $115 billion since 1949. But this assistance has enabled Israel to build a military that has obviated the need for U.S. military intervention on Israel's behalf.
Conclusions
Israel is a small country, but one that contributes significantly in a number of areas important to the security of the United States. Israel is a valued partner for the U.S. intelligence and counterterrorism communities and for the U.S. military. It is a leader in the development of technologies that are transforming the face of modern warfare, including cyber systems, robotics, rocket/missile defenses, battlefield ISR, advanced munitions, passive and active defenses for armored vehicles, and mini-satellites. And Israeli innovations in a number of civilian areasIT, water conservation and management, high-tech agriculture, medical R&D, cleantech/renewable energy, and societal resilience have the potential to help the United States meet many of the 'soft' security and global economic competitiveness issues of the future.
For this potential to be fully realized, there needs to be greater recognition that Israel not only benefits immensely from U.S. support, but also contributes significantly to U.S. interests. Israel's own strength and stability, along with its military, technological, and scientific achievements, enhance the U.S. ability to meet the security, economic, and development requirements (at home and abroad) that are increasingly essential to preserving American prosperity and leadership.
ASSET TEST
actively involve Israel alongside other international partners. And the U.S. private sector business, technological, and scientific communities, which are already deeply invested in practical partnerships with their Israeli counterparts, should be further incentivized to bring home the benefits of these multifaceted and unusually productive bilateral connections. xvi Strategic Report7 | Eisenstadt, Pollock
4. Â Â Â Is the Saudi Royal Family Connected to 9/11 Hijackers?
Extracts:
New evidence links the Saudi royal family to Saudis in South Florida, who reportedly had contact with the 9/11 hijackers before fleeing the US prior to the attacks.
September 22, 2011 |
WhoWhatWhy has found evidence linking the Saudi royal family to Saudis in South Florida who reportedly had direct contact with the 9/11 hijackers before fleeing the United States just prior to the attacks. Our report connects some of the dots first laid out by investigative author Anthony Summers and Florida-based journalist Dan Christensen in articles jointly published in the Miami Herald and on the nonprofit news site BrowardBulldog.org.
As reported in the Herald, phone records documented communication, dating back more than a year, that connected a Saudi family then living in a house near Sarasota, Florida, with the alleged plot leader, Mohammed Atta, and his hijack pilots, as well as to eleven of the other hijackers. In addition, records from the guard house at the gated community tied Atta's vehicle and his accomplice Ziad Jarrah to actual visits to the house. Although requiring further investigation, this information suggests that the house may have functioned as an operational base for the hijackers.
After public disclosure of Saudi involvement in the 9/11 attacks, people in the gated community took note of the rushed departure and disappearance of the Ghazzawi-al-Hiijjiis. After all, the attackers were not just overwhelmingly of Saudi nationality, but three out of four of the future hijackers had lived and trained to fly in Venice, Florida, just 10 miles away from the house.
Phone records showed communication, dating back more than a year, that connected those in the house with the alleged plot leader, Mohammed Atta and his accomplices, including eleven of the other hijackers. Other records, kept by guards at the gated community, documented numerousvisits to the house by a vehicle known to have been used by Atta, and indicated the physical presence in the car of Atta's purported accomplice Ziad Jarrah. It appeared as if the Ghazzawi house was some kind of nerve center for the entire operation.
The seeming reluctance of the US government to pursue hints of possible Saudi complicity in the 9/11 attacks, wherever they might lead, is hardly an isolated failure. Richard Clarke, the chief counterterrorism official in both the Clinton and Bush administrations, has recently stated his view that the CIA made an unsuccessful attempt to recruit two of the hijackers as double agents before the 9/11 attacks, then scurried to cover up this bungled effort. Clarke thinks evidence points to the spy agency itself allowing the hijackers into the U.S. as part of this scheme. If Clarke is correct, this would be another case of interested parties in the government keeping the truth bottled up for their own purposes.
