1. White Evangelical Protestants Believe in the End Times!
According to Public Religion Research Institute, nearly two-thirds (65%) of white evangelical Protestants believe that the severity of recent natural disasters is evidence of what the Bible calls the end times.

....last week scientists declared that CO2 levels had reached 400 parts per million (ppm), and 350.org released their film, 'Do the Math' on the crisis of climate change.
Reputable scientists in this impressive film say 'civilization is in jeopardy.'
Researchers at Columbia University, in a study published this week in the journal Nature Climate Change, estimate deaths linked to warming climate may rise by some 20 percent by the 2020s, 90 percent or more 70 years hence.
Adverse health effects from rising temperatures will hit major cities, like New York and other urban areas, especially hard.
'Heat events are one of the greatest hazards faced by urban populations around the globe,' said coauthor of the study Radley Horton, a climate scientist at the Earth Institute's Center for Climate Systems Research.
How Americans view these events is strikingly dissimilar, however.
According to Public Religion Research Institute, nearly two-thirds (65%) of white evangelical Protestants believe that the severity of recent natural disasters is evidence of what the Bible calls the end times. By contrast, more than six in 10 (63%) of Americans say the severity of recent natural disasters is evidence of global climate change. Only half (50%) of white evangelical Protestants agree that the severity of recent natural disasters is evidence of global climate change, less than that of Catholics (60%) and religiously unaffiliated Americans (69%). In other words, there's a big disconnect between how a lot of evangelical Protestants view the links between natural disasters and climate change and how most Americans see it. The consequence of this is all too apparent politically.

2. Norway Challenged for the Funding of Pensions for Arab Murderers of Jewish Children
[Brit-Am Note: Norway gives money to the Palestinians and the PA (Palestinian Authority) uses this and other money to pay its terrorists. The Norwegian Government must have been aware of this since they have officials whose task it is to trace how the money is spent. The Norwegian Foreign Ministry in the letter quoted below appears to acknowledge its awareness of this matter and even to justify it! It follows that indirectly Norway funds terror against Jews!]

From the NRK site
Last week, the Norwegian state broadcaster NRK ran a serious analytic piece prepared by Tormod Strand, a respected investigative reporter. Based on a news segment that went to air on NRK television, it looks at how Norwegian aid money is playing a significant role in the Palestinian Authority's disgraceful ongoing encouragement of terrorism among its own people.
If we were writing their headlines, we might have thought to call this the Royal Norwegian Reward for Terrorism Program. But that might seem ungracious.
We traveled to Oslo a week earlier to speak to the Norwegian public and parliamentarians about the immoral ends to which their money is being applied. The May 14, 2013 NRK article (including a video interview with Arnold Roth) refers to that visit, and is online here.

Palestinian prisoners serving time for terror acts will be granted a monthly salary from Palestine. Israeli Arnold Roth now wants to put a stop to payment of salary to those convicted of terrorist acts.Â
Arnold Roth's daughter never made it past her 15th year. Her killer, jailed for terrorist acts, receives a monthly salary from Palestine. Now Roth is appealing to Norway to demand that Palestine stops paying money to Palestinians convicted of terrorism.
Israeli Arnold Roth's daughter Malki was killed because a Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up in a pizza restaurant in Jerusalem in 2001. 15 civilians were killed. The man responsible for making the bomb - Abdullah Barghouti - is now in prison in Israel.
Palestine honours several hundred Palestinian prisoners, many of whom are terrorists, with a monthly payment. Abdullah Barghouti receives about 10.000 kroner each month from Palestine. Norway, one of the large economic contributors to Palestine, has to demand an end to payment for terror, Malki's father says.
"I think everybody wants to see peace between Israel and the Palestinians. But Norway and other countries must understand that to contribute indirectly to Palestine paying a salary to terrorists in prison is to contribute to maintaining a Palestinian culture supporting terrorism as a political tool. It doesn't contribute to peace, he continues.
The Foreign Ministry has the last several years repeatedly denied this. However, NRK now claims that the finance minister of Palestine, Salam Fayyad, even in 2004 wrote an article where he openly told about the arrangement of salaries to terrorists, among others.Â
... the FM (UD) confirms that an arrangement is in place in which prisoners are paid a salary. This arrangement has existed since the establishment of the Palestinian Authority in the middle of the 1990s.Â
In 2004 the support was increased so that prisoners who had already served more than 25 years received 6400 kroner per month. The Palestinian arrangement, set down in law, also gives prisoners the right to be employed by the Authority after they have finished their sentence.Â
The FM [Norwegian Foreign Ministry] also confirm in its letter to the Stortinget that the longer you stay in prison, the more money you will receive.
In 2010, the support paid to prisoners in Israeli prisons further increased, according to a bill passed by lawmakers. For people serving more than 30 years, the payment was tripled to more than 19,000 NK a month.
The families of 70 prisoners are now receiving this sum, according to the FM's letter to the Stortinget. As a comparison, a civil servant in the [Palestinian] Authority earns about NK 4600 a month.
The FM [Norwegian Foreign Ministry] writes to the Stortinget that the prisoners' case is very sensitive, seen from the Palestinian point of view, and that economic support of prisoners and their families is popular in Palestinian society.

 Svoboda Fuels Ukraine's Growing Anti-Semitism

The rise of anti-Semitism in Ukraine is barely noticed in State Department's recent International Religious Freedom Report for 2012. This is especially alarming, because even in the best of times, anti-Semitism is as prevalent in Ukraine as coal in Newcastle.
The collapse of the Soviet Union gave rise to nationalist far-right organizations as well radical Muslim groups with anti-Semitism as their common denominator. Europe's current financial woes have also led to the rise of new neo-fascist groups such as Hungary's Jobbik party, known for its vile anti-Semitic propaganda, and the far right extremist Greece's Golden Dawn, with its swastika-like flag and symbols, and aspiration "to become...like Hezbollah in Lebanon."
In Ukraine, the noisiest anti-Semitic group is the Svoboda ("Freedom") party. Established in 1991 as the "Social-National Party of Ukraine" under the SS-era symbol of the Wolfsangel. In 2004, with new leader Oleh Tyahnybok, the party renamed itself and adopted innocuous symbols.
Svoboda supporters include among their heroes leaders of pro-Nazi World War II organizations known for their atrocities against Jews and Poles, such as the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), and the 14th Waffen-SS Galicia Division. (To Svoboda's vocal displeasure, Poland's parliament recently introduced a resolution condemning the OUN and the UPA for wartime massacres of Polish civilians.)
Concerns about Svoboda aren't confined to words and historical associations, however. As reported by the Jewish Telegraph Agency (JTA) in April, Svoboda thugs took part in an opposition demonstration against the government of President Viktor Yanukovych, and provoked a small riot in Cherkassy, a city some 125 miles southeast of Kyiv. Outfitted with T-shirts emblazoned with the words "Beat the zhids [Jews]!," ... Joel Rubinfeld, co-chair of the European Jewish Parliament, is quoted saying: "Svoboda lifted the lid from the sewer of anti-Semitism in Ukraine and it's spilling out."
All of this would be enough cause for concern. But Svoboda is not alone. Ukraine's "respectable" opposition parties, Batkivshchina ("Fatherland") and UDAR are not less anti-Semitic. Batkivshchina is nominally headed by former prime-minister Yulia Tymoshenko, currently imprisoned on corruption charges, and effectively run by former parliamentary chairman Arseniy Yatsenyuk. UDAR is headed by celebrated boxer Vitaly Klitschko.  Far from shunning Svoboda--as Europe's mainstream Hungarian and Greek parties respectively have ostracized Jobbik and Golden Dawn--Batkivshchina and UDAR have embraced it and its anti-Semitism in a united opposition to the government of President Viktor Yanukovych, who isn't Jewish.Â
Tyahnybok and his party have already benefitted from cooperation with the "mainstream" Batkivshchina and UDAR forces, which claim a "pro-western orientation" and accuse Yanukovych and his ruling Party of Regions (PoR) of being pro-Russian. With a strong regional base in the western part of Ukraine, Svoboda emerged as a major element in the parliament following the October 2012 election, pulling in over 10 percent of the vote nationwide. Svoboda also controls local governments in parts of its home region and boosted--with the support of other opposition parties--pension payments for local veterans of the SS Galicia Division. Hoping to enhance their future prospects, recently Yatsenyuk and Klitschko appeared together with Tyahnybok to cement a joint opposition electoral program against the current government.
PoR [the pro-Russian anti-Fascist ruling party] draws its support primarily from the east and south of the country, which includes Odessa, the historic center of Jewish cultural life in Ukraine. "We are against fascism," a PoR supporter told the U.S. government-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty's Ukrainian language service: "What is being done in western Ukraine is wrong. I have never seen a demonstration in favor of Stalin, but the fact that fascism is trying to rise in Ukraine is very wrong. The deputies from western Ukraine in the parliament are trying to instigate a nationalist mood." Â
