1. Rabbi Finds Lost Fortune and Returns it to its Unaware Owner
New Haven man finds $98K in desk he bought on Craigslist

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Imagine buying a desk under $200 on Craigslist only to find thousands of dollars hidden inside.
That's exactly what happened New Haven Rabbi Noah Muroff and his wife. They found a huge pile of cash after buying a desk.
When the couple brought the desk home it wouldn't fit through the door. "The desk did not fit into this office by fraction of an inch," Muroff said.
The couple had to pull the desk apart, including the file cabinets. Behind the drawers they discovered a plastic bag filled with cash.
"Behind the drawers there is this plastic bag, like a shopping," he said. "In the bag, I could already see through the bag, it looks like a one hundred dollar bill.
"We open it up and it's full of cash. And we counted up and there's $98,000 cash sitting in the bag."
The couple couldn't believes their eyes.
"Right away my wife and I sort of looked at each other and said we can't keep this money."
They picked up the phone and called the original owner. ...
The former owner had stuffed her inheritance in the desk and forgot where she put the money.
... returned the cash to the rightful owner. ... Rabbi Muroff said the most important thing in life is to be honest.

2. Kosher [Jewish Slaughter] vs. Halal [Muslim] Brutality
http://www.shamrak.com/articles.php
From: Steven Shamrak <shamrakreport@gmail.com>
Extracts:
- Kosher - requires the animal be slaughtered quickly and humanely, strictly forbidding cruel slow methods like strangulation.
- Halal - requires the animal be bled out in agony while sick people who get off watching that kind of thing have a "festival."
- Kosher - requires the blood be drained cleanly from the carcass of the humanely killed animal, removing toxins released from cells into the bloodstream at the moment of death from the meat.
- Halal - leaves the meat filled with toxins released at the moment of death because the blood is removed while the animal is dying and therefore is not present in sufficient quantities to remove those last toxins.
- Kosher - contains little to no cortisol or norepinephrine (two stress chemicals that are similar enough from mammal to mammal to cross species) because the animal to be killed is treated well before it is put down and is generally not frightened as it is put down (because in a truly kosher slaughter situation, animals cannot be slaughtered in a sequential fashion, as the waste of one could contaminate the next, so they are not exposed to the "scent of death" the way non-kosher culls are)
- Halal - animals watch other animals die during the blood-letting festival, smelling their fear and raising their own stress. These stress chemicals "marinate" the meat in hormones known to raise levels of aggression and violence in nearly all mammal species (including human).
- Kosher - requires cooking the cleanly drained meat completely, cooking any remaining stress chemicals into oblivion.
- Halal - allows for a surprising range of cooking methods, including even some "tartare" dishes (raw or nearly raw), allowing for the spread of disease and chemicals and hormones that were not removed by the idiotic slow bloodletting practice and half-measure cooking.
- Kosher - the spinal cord is sectioned thus cutting off pain to the brain. Therefore, no suffering or terror.
- Halal - spinal cord left intact.

3. Meotti Interview: J'Accuse: The Vatican Against Israel

Arutz Sheva interviews its well-known columnist on his book accusing the Vatican of blatant anti-Zionism, acting as an ally of the PLO.

Arutz Sheva interviewed Meotti about his new book, "The Vatican Against Israel: J'Accuse", which takes its title from Emil Zola's brave attack on the 19th century French sanctioned anti-Semitism that influenced the infamous Dreyfus Case.
Meotti: I wanted to investigate a mystery. For over 100 years, and half a century after the Holocaust, the Vatican has been hostile to the creation of a Jewish homeland in the Middle East with its capital as Jerusalem.
For the sixty years after the Jewish State gained independence in 1948, the Catholic Church adopted a policy fitting to Israel's Arab-Islamic enemies: total non-recognition of Jewish statehood and peoplehood.
Throughout Christian history, Catholicism had long viewed Judaism as a pariah faith, and the Jews as a group destined to wander the earth for their complicity in the death of Jesus. Jews were called Antichrists, avaricious beings, blasphemers, cheats, circumcisers, cowards, crucifiers, deiciders, desecrators of the Host, devils.
The Second Vatican Council partially revoked this horrible anti-Semitic doctrine in 1965. But since then, the Vatican's rapprochement with the Jewish people took place at two levels, which the Vatican kept carefully separate: the theological level and the political level. Each advance on the first plane was counterbalanced by a deeper regression on the second, as if the two movements were synchronized.
Indeed, the closer the Vatican seems to draw toward reconciliation and dialogue with Judaism, the louder grows the clamor supporting the Arab cause against Israel. For example, when in 2000 the pontiff John Paul II ascended to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Judaism's most holy site and under Israeli rule, he wasn't welcomed by any Israeli official, but by representatives of the Palestinian Authority, and the holy complex was bedecked in Arab flags. It was an implicit recognition of Muslim hegemony.
...during the last fifty years, the Vatican authorities obfuscated the reality of a Jewish State as democracy under siege by calling it 'occupation'; that the Vatican has been able to impose a narrative in which 'peace' is contingent on Israeli concessions and efforts to dismantle the Jewish State; that the Vatican took part in international conferences in which Zionism was associated with racism; that a Middle Eastern version of liberation theology, supported by high profile Catholic clergy, presented the Palestinian Arabs as 'the true Israel', oppressed by a malevolent occupation government of theologically cursed Jews.
...L'Osservatore Romano, the official newspaper of the Vatican, on April 2, 2002 in an article on the front page, came to the point of accusing the Jewish state of carrying out a campaign of 'extermination.' This is a blood libel.
