Extract:
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said Wednesday that recent moves by European leaders to unilaterally recognize Palestinian statehood have undermined sensitive ceasefire negotiations with Hamas, making peace even harder to achieve.
Israel has already rejected symbolic recognition efforts, saying they send exactly the wrong message: that violence can win Palestinians a state.
Huckabee's remarks reinforce that view, arguing that only a strong stance against Hamas will ultimately secure both Israel's safety and the return of hostages.

Extract:
... on Thursday morning ... a terrorist opened fire at two Jewish farmers riding a UTV at the Malachi Hashalom farm, near Shilo in Binyamin
The masked terrorist hid among trees and opened fire from close range, shooting one bullet, which hit one of the Jews, lightly injuring him.
His gun then jammed, so instead he ran toward the UTV [a fortified Ranger] and tried to take control of it.
The Jews struggled to fend him off, during which the Ranger overturned. The terrorist then fled the scene toward a hostile Arab village.
The injured Jew, 20, was treated at the scene and evacuated to the hospital for treatment.

The IDF says the 98th Commando Division began renewed activities in northern Gaza this week and is now operating in Gaza City alongside the 162nd Division.
Gazans living in Jabaliya and Gaza City were urged by the IDF to relocate for their own safety to the Al-Mawasi humanitarian safety zone in the southern part of the enclave in an evacuation order issued earlier this week.

4. HHS: Harvard Violated Civil Rights of Jewish and Israeli Students
By
David Israel
On Monday, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) determined that Harvard University violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by showing deliberate indifference to the harassment of Jewish and Israeli students. The OCR concluded that, from October 7, 2023, to the present, Harvard failed to adequately respond to severe and pervasive incidents involving students and faculty that targeted individuals based on their actual or perceived Jewish or Israeli identity.
Title VI prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin, including ethnic or ancestral identity, by institutions receiving federal funding. Between fiscal years 2023 and 2025, Harvard and its subrecipients received more than $794 million in federal financial assistance from HHS.

During the tour, the Chief of Staff and the Southern Command Commander met with soldiers from the Kfir Brigade and Brigade 188. They held a debriefing at the site of the encounter with Hamas operatives in Khan Yunis, where an attack was thwarted yesterday. The Chief of Staff expressed appreciation for the soldiers' vigilance and swift response, which led to the elimination of most of the terrorists.
The Chief of Staff instructed the commanders to deepen the debriefing of the event, extract lessons, and continue with determined and professional operations.
He stated, "We are in a challenging and intense multi-front war. The Gaza front is our primary focus. We are progressing with efforts for operations in Gaza City. Our objectives remain the release of the hostages and the defeat of Hamas - we will not rest or stop until we complete them."
