Extracts:
If the choice is sovereignty in Judea and Samaria or a peace deal with Saudi Arabia, he would choose sovereignty, Israeli Energy and Infrastructure Minister Eli Cohen (Likud) says.
'It is important for me to say that between the Jordan River and the Sea, there will only be one state,' Cohen told Makor Rishon.
'The path of the ideological right has proven to be the correct one, and we must take advantage of [U.S. President-elect Donald] Trump's rule to apply sovereignty in Judea and Samaria,' he continued. 'We are already preparing the ground for annexation in Judea and Samaria.'
Long-time activists Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, leaders of the Sovereignty Movement, an organization founded in 2011 to advance the idea of annexing Israel's biblical and historic heartland, praised Cohen's comments.
'Minister Eli Cohen, the Jewish majority and Jewish history stand by your side, on the side that is just, moral, Zionist, and the one that, God willing, will prevail,' they said, according to a Nov. 30 statement by the group.
Katsover and Matar have argued that the Oct. 7, 2023, which took place on the Simchat Torah holiday, Hamas attack was a result of Israel's failure to extend sovereignty over places such as Gaza.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on Sunday told Kol Ba'Rama radio he favored occupying territories in the Gaza Strip and encouraging the voluntary migration of thousands of Gazan residents.
"I am in favor of occupying territories in Gaza, especially after October 7," Ben Gvir said, adding, "Encouraging voluntary immigration and taking territories is the most important thing right now. I am seriously considering moving my family to the Gaza Strip. It is definitely an option that is on the table."
According to Ben Gvir, "When there were residents in Gush Katif, there were no missiles fired on Beer Sheva and Ashkelon. For me, the 'day after' in Gaza includes Jewish settlement. Voluntary immigration of Gaza residents should be encouraged."

3. Who are the anti-Assad Rebels in Syria?
Dr. Mordecai Kedar reports that the Rebels are (at present) moderate Sunni Muslims who want the removal of the present Alawi pro-Iranian Regime of Assad and the removal of Hizbollah from Lebanon and Syria. He says that for the present they are not against the State of Israel and speak of opening embassies in Israel.
Brit-Am Comment.
Assad is a member of the Alawi, a religious group that was not so long ago openly pagan (Gnostic and moon-worshipping) but recently adopted a form of Shiiite Islam similar to that of Iran though they do not really practise it. The Alawi comprise ca. 10% of the population of Syria but control ca. 60% of ifs territory. They are also supported by groups of Muslim in the vicinity of Damascus of partly Samaritan origin.
Assad is allied with Hisbulloh (a Shiiite Muslim satellite group of |Iran) and supported by Russia.
In Syria more than 14 million have fled their home.
Turkey is supporting the rebels against Assad.
The pro-Western Kurdish presence in Syria is liable to suffer.
