The Messiah son of Joseph will appear among the Lost Ten Tribes. He will overcome the enemies of all Israel. The Messiah son of Joseph will begin to bring the Ten Tribes back to the Land of Israel and to re-unite them with Judah (the Jews), The messiah son of Joseph will be helped fight his wars by the Tribe of Dan. After that the Messiah son of David will appear. HE WILL ENABLE EVERY HEBREW TO KNOW WHAT TRIBE THEY PERTAIN TO! The Messianic Kingdom shall spread over the earth. Here too, the Tribe of Dan will help the Messiah son of David to be revealed!

I have some questions concerning Messiah ben Joseph.
I have read quite a bit about Messiah ben Joseph from various sources, including your books, internet articles and YouTube lectures.
My questions are these:
1) I have read about Messiah ben Joseph from many different sources. But the only place where I have come across that he will have a helper from the tribe of Dan is in your article

My questions is therefore: Do you know of any other sources, besides Kol HaTor by Rabbi Hillel Rivlin, which mentions that Messiah ben Joseph will have a helper from the tribe of Dan?
2) It is my understanding that the belief in Messiah ben Joseph is found primarily among Orthodox Jews, and not so much among Reform Jews. Is that correct?
3) I will be quoting you in my article. How would you prefer that I describe you? As an "Orthodox Jew"? The readers of my website are mainly Christians, so it is important to point out that you are not writing from a Christian point of view.

This article is based on sources quoted in a Hebrew-Language article by
by Rabbi Baruch Efrati.
Rabbi Efrati suggests.. . the Future reign of the Messiah son of Joseph which will come about with the help of Dan.
On the other hand, the Messiah son of David, who will follow after the Messiah son of Joseph will also receive input from Dan.
Midrash Beishit Rabbah (97;9):
The future Messiah son of David with have a father from Judah and a mother from Dan.
Samson had a father from Dan and a mother from Judah. Samson in some ways was a forerunner of the future Messiah son of David..
... the Zohar refers to the Messiah son of Ephraim whom Rabbi Efrati evidently understands to mean the Messiah son of Joseph.
The basic outline of the Zohar may have been written down in ca. 300 CE but its final form (as we now know it) was determined close to the time of its revelation in ca. 1200 CE.
The Zohar (Balak 194;b) says:
This is Sariah who will come to help the Messiah son of Ephraim, and he himself is from the Tribe of Dan. He is destined to take vengeance in wars against the other nations.
2. Reform Jews usually do not know much about Judaism about from a few Jewish practices that they still keep as a formality. They do not believe in the Bible as we do. In some places most of their congregations are less than half-Jewish. There may however be among their rank-and-file exceptional individuals here and there.
3. Yair Davidiy identifies as an Orthodox, or Ultra-Orthodox (Hareidi) Jew and is so identifiable.
