(a) LTT Video on Aish.com
Shalom Yair
http://www.aish.com/jl/h/h/Video-The-Ten-Lost-Tribes.html
It's only a brief (just over two and a half minutes) summary, but it's
informative and it does put the issue in front of what (I assume) is a
fairly large subscriber base.
You probably won't agree with his opinion on the Pashtun, but, think
about it, in the end they'd return to Judaism (along with the rest)
anyway; so what they do now is kind of moot. I mean, they might be your
worst enemies atm. But there were times when we were as well
(*cough*bloodlibel*cough*). Even as recently as 1948.
Anyway, at the end he estimates that there could be as many as 1.4
billion lost Israelites and Jews (I'm using the two terms separately to
distinguish between those lost in the Assyrian exile (TT) and those
lost in later exiles). A fair chunk of those must be from the nations
you identify as LTT. Unless he thinks the Han Chinese are the Tribes.

Hmm.
Certainly you can find all three of of the other valuables brought by
the ships of Tarshish in areas to the west and south of the pillars of
Hercules

2-Chronicles 9:
21 For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Hiram.[d] Once every three years the merchant ships came, bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and monkeys.[f]
Also 2-Kings 10:21.
The word translated as "monkeys" in the NKJV in Hebrew is "toociyim" plural of tooci". In Modern Hebrew a "tooci" is a parrot BUT Daat Mikra (Yehudah Kiel) points out that the Aramaic Translation as well as several of the earlier commentators understood the word to mean peacock. Daat Mikra also seems to prefer the peacock solution. This explains why the KJV (which you evidently refer to) also uses the word peacock.

(c) Perseus: Not Moses, But An Amalgam of Biblical Figures
Re Perseus Compared to Moses and the Danites of Jaffa
Shalom Yair
And I'll tell you why.
First of all: Perseus is the son of Danae. Interestingly the Irish hero
Lugh is also from Danaan. Now... Which Biblical hero is a member of the
tribe of Dan? Clue. It's not Moses
Secondly: Perseus (like Lugh) is the result of a forbidden union. Both
men are conceived by women locked away by fathers who have been told
that they'll be killed by their own grandson (the similarities between
Perseus and Lugh are so numerous that you really do wonder if it's not
just the same tale with minor corruptions). I don't know of any
Biblical hero who killed his own grandfather. But I'm pretty sure it's
not Moses (unless you count Pharoah, as his adoptive grandfather)
Thirdly: Both Perseus and Lugh kill a monster who can kill with its
gaze (Medusa and Balor respectively). In the case of Lugh it's a
twofer, as Balor just happens to also be his grandfather. In both cases
the hero uses a mirrored shield. I can't think of any Biblical hero who
accomplishes a similar feat. But, then, I'm no scholar
Fourthly: (in certain versions) Balor and Acrisius are both killed by a
blow from a fast moving blunt object. Kinda like David's slaying of
Goliath.
Fifthly: Both Perseus and Lugh, having been conceived against the
wishes of their respective Grandpas, are condemned to death by drowning.
Now, I'll admit that is very similar to the Moses story. Except that
Pharoah's decree applied all Israelite baby boys and not just the one.
So... What we seem to have in Perseus (and Lugh) is a composite of
Biblical heroes. Samson (for his providence), David (for the feat of
slaying a monster with a blunt projectile), Moses (the watery fate)
and for the killing of the monster with the lethal gaze. Likewise I'm
stuck on which Biblical hero killed his own Grandad (this part might
have been imported from some other source).
I've probably just scratched the surface. But I really do think JS's
identification of Perseus purely with Moses is in error. Clearly he has
more than one source.
Shalom for now

3. Messiah likened to a Serpent and Future Movement of the Palestinians!
Re Brit-Am Now no. 1939
#7. The Snake and the Messiah.
Â
Re Dan and the Messiah
Two more points of interest should be mentioned:
In addition to Nachshon the ancestor of David having a name which was a diminutive form of "serpent" or snake the father of David, Jesse, was also known as Nachash (2-Samuel 17 (Nahash) meaning The Snake.
2-Samuel 17:
25 And Absalom made Amasa captain of the army instead of Joab. This Amasa was the son of a man whose name was Jithra, an Israelite, who had gone in to Abigail the daughter of Nahash, sister of Zeruiah, Joab's mother.
Here Zeruiah the mother of Joab, is the daughter of Nahash (Nachash) whose name means "Snake". Elsewhere he is identified as Jesse. David was the uncle of Joab and brother of Zeruiah.
cf.
1-Chronicles 2:
13 Jesse begot Eliab his firstborn, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third, 14 Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth, 15 Ozem the sixth, and David the seventh.
16 Now their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah were Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, three. 17 Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
It is not unusual for Biblical Personalities to be referred to by different names.
Isaiah also spoke of a descendant of King Ahaz striking the Philistines and compares Ahaz to a serpent to a serpent and his chosen descendant to a flying serpent.
Isaiah 14:
29 Do not rejoice, all you of Philistia,
Because the rod that struck you is broken;
For out of the serpent's roots will come forth a viper,
And its offspring will be a fiery flying serpent.
There are those who understand the intention to be the Messiah son of David who will strike the Philistines in the End Times when Judah and Ephraim together will fly the Philistine-Palestinians to some place in the west.
Isaiah 11: 14 But they [i.e. Judah and Ephraim together cf. Isaiah 11:13] shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west;
This should preferably be translated as saying:
"They shall fly the Philistines to the West".

"They Must Go!" Proposed Movement of Arab Populations.

Where would I look to find information on my heritage? I've felt an urge to learn my roots, support Israel however I may and help wake up people to the trying times ahead.
I'll be honest, I feel unworthy, but I am seeking [the ALMIGHTY] with all my heart.

5. Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations is Unique!
Re How Does Brit-Am Differ from Other groups with a Similar Israelite Identity Message?
Brit-Am is dedicated almost completely to the subject of the Ten Tribes.
[Most of the other groups that hold such a belief regard it as an adjunct or addition to their main doctrines.]
Brit-Am identifies as descendants of the Tribes of Israel groups of West European descent and their offshoots, with an emphasis on the English-speaking peoples.
[Many of the other groups either ignore Western Peoples OR they include them alongside others.]
Brit-Am Concentrates on the Hebrew Bible and on the literal meaning of Scripture.
[Surprisingly enough few of the other groups actually even try to do this.]
Brit-Am uses Rabbinical sources in addition to the Bible, History, Linguistics, Mythology, etc.
[NONE of the other groups do this!]
Brit-Am is so structured as to enable parallel participation and ongoing interest by Orthodox Jews, Believing Christians, and others.
[NONE of the other groups can really make similar claims.]
Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations is unique on the above points and on other matters.
We also have good evidence. This is really the bottom line. We need more help in getting this proof out to the public.
