1. Brian Weston: Joseph characteristics
Re Rabbinical Hasidic Sources.
I have enjoyed your latest You Tube contribution on the Characteristics of Joseph. The Lord is blessing me in your teaching. Your knowledge about the tasks of Judah and Joseph are really sinking in. I have always regarded it to be Judah's primary task to rule since this is where the King of Israel comes from. Nevertheless, I clearly see in our time and day where Judah is being prepared as the set man, the one who studies and translates Torah; while Joseph is given the role to take up the sceptre and rouse the troops, so to speak. Your knowledge of Torah and ability to deliver on some of its finer points is a living example of Judah at work. Praise God for you.
Your talk regarding the story of Judah's pleading to Joseph in Egypt to spare Benjamin being made a slave was particularly helpful. Specifically, I find how you explained Judah's petition in Genesis 44:18 of OH MY LORD. You translated it as BIY ADONAI or "IN ME" ADONAI. This was incredibly powerful and insightful and has helped me in my own study. There is much to render here, literally and figuratively. In one swing of the ax, Joseph and Judah are a lot closer than most of us think. Biy, is also very close to biyn and beyn which together speak about distinguishing between and among. Biy, is a word of reference as well. I actually believe biyn is Yiddish for bone. In using biy, I can see that Judah is speaking further about the ability to distinguish yet from the same substance. I see that saying IN ME in this sense is a confession of selfsame substance as it relates to Benjamin. It is also an acknowledgement of strength. I believe Judah did know something more than his brothers. I find myself pleading in the same way writing to you, or speaking to family or friends especially with regards to my ancestry. But I also receive it from you, and this is how I am blessed. Yes, I am blessed by your understanding of Torah. Biy, Yair, send more teaching of Torah!!
For the record I can never keep the Ephraim and Manasseh alignments straight though I do recognize that Ephraim holds the stick of Joseph and that Ephraim is the birthright nation tribe of Israel. Like you, I tend to lean towards seeing England as Ephraim and the States as Manasseh, but my more humbled sense is to say that Ephraim is much bigger with regards to its reach, and smaller with regards to its channel. That is to say, I do not believe that Ephraim is to be identified as a descendant tribe of a literal Ephraim but much more the Gomerized descendant nation tribe if there ever was such a thing. Its very similar to Rabbi Yisrael Alter's interpretation. ...

Isaiah made predictions concerning Judah and the Ten Tribes in the End Times. These help inform us who the Ten Tribes are. They also tell us to repent and correct our ways.Â
The Book of Isaiah in Summary.
My name is Roberto , born on 7th October 1964 in nnn, Ecuador. ...I have been living in ... Germany.
I read for the first time of Anglo-Israelism in the book of the American-German journalist F. William Engdahl Apokalypse Jetzt (Apocalpyse Now). It is indeed a critical book, but the concept of the Anglo-Israelism made me research on my own.
I found The Church Of Israel (http://www.churchofisrael.org/). They are believers in Anglo-Israelism, though. they just also affirm that other nations of Middle and Southern Europe are descents of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. Spain would descent from the Tribe of Simeon.
What is your statement on this?
Spain was the scene of Israelite settlement. Jews from Judah were also assimilated amongst the Spanish and Portuguese.
SPAIN AND THE JEWS
Atlantic Ocean. THE LOST TEN TRIBES AND TARSHISH
Nevertheless Spain and Portugal are not Israelite nations from the point of view of Scripture.
People from Spain and Portugal who belive they are deescended from Israel should find their way back either through one or other of the Israelite nations or through Judah.
God bless you,
