1. Suggested New Terminology for our Beliefs?
Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations says that the Lost Ten Tribes are amongst Western Nations. So do other groups. We need a new generic term for all of us.
The term that is often used is "Identity". This is misleading since it is also applied to Racist anti-Jewish organizations. We do not want to be in any way associated with those.
British Israel or Anglo-Israel may be historically correct but they overduly emphasizes the British (at the expense of the others) and also historically are associated with specific organizations.
British Israel for instance is today considered to be represented by the BIWF (British Israel World Federation) and this too is problematic.
The terms Brit-Am and Hebrew Nations refers to us at exclusion of the others.
We suggest IWI (Israelite Western Identity) or Western Hebrews or something similar.
Any suggestions?
2. Colin Power (Australia): In Defence of Obama
From: "Colin Power" <powerazz@bigpond.net.au>
I am so pleased that Pres Obama won the election. He took over the presidency at a time when America was in one of her deepest problems. (Not caused by him, but by the banks) He didn't solve all the problems, but he only had four years, and he certainly made a remarkable difference despite the opposition of the wealthy section of America, the so-called republicans. There is a bumper sticker in the US which simply says, Osama bin liner is dead and General Motors is still alive. (Both thanks to Obama)
Romney wanted GM to go bankrupt. When Chrysler was rescued (by Obama) and refinanced by Fiat, Romney criticise that too! Obama has tried to provide health care for millions of Americans who can't afford insurance. He is a Democrat, (our equivalent of the Labor Party) and I hope he succeeds. The financial cliff that everybody is talking about at the moment has to do with two things, increasing taxes on the wealthy and removing loopholes for them to avoid it, and spending money on infrastructure (which will create jobs), education, and health care. The current situation has to be addressed by Congress in December. The combination of proposals in place will reduce America's debt by $6 trillion. It may be too much. It could force America back into recession, but they will have to absorb some pain if they are to solve their problems. The US is $16 trillion in debt.
America has been the policeman of the world since the Second World War, and is one of the tribes of Israel (and that was their responsibility). God knows where the world would be if America had not given the stability they have. Their embassies have been burned, their flag spat upon, their armies criticised. Yet every time there is a disaster like an earthquake, they have been the first to offer aid. Australia, Canada, the British, have also played their part... I think Obama will go down in history as one of the greatest presidents of the US (to be compared with Washington and FDR) and for this he has my greatest admiration. Keep the space open for further comments.

Brit-Am Reply:
You may have a point about General Motors and the automobile industry. I do not know. Also concerning social matters I agree that Right-Wing Capitalist Thinkers often get it wrong. There is much to be said for spreading the wealth around and for benign Governmental Intervention on behalf of the people.
Nevertheless in the Debates it was Romney who made the best impression even concerning these matters.
So far under Obama the US economy has not improved. Maybe it still will do so.
The way you are talking however I would not be too optimistic concerning a quick US recovery,
You said:
# they will have to absorb some pain if they are to solve their problems#.
I hope Obama does not take that attitude. Historically most successful movements of Reform and Recovery have made conditions better from Day One. That at least is what the aim should be.
Obama is in favor of abortions, homosexuality, and Muslim empowerment.
Concerning Israel his record is checkered. The US did stand up for Israel in the UN. Also US security and defence cooperation with Israel in some ways was enhanced. Nevertheless on the whole he has been negative.
Dinesh D'Souza has made quite a stir with his claim that Obama shares the anticolonialist doctrine of his father, Barack Obama Sr., and is planning to weaken and impoverish the United States in furtherance of that doctrine.
See:
Dinesh D'Souza's "2016: Obama's America"
Posted by Richard Brody
This is all very controversial but it is similar to the impression many received from the very beginning, before D'Souza made his claims.
See our article:
The Prophet Balaam and Barak Hussein. Obama, Fareed, and the Promises to Israel.
Extract:
Barak Hussein Obama ... was photographed carrying a book by Fareed Zecharia. ...The book also gives us an opening to understanding the mind-set of Obama ... a warning that the present administration may not necessarily have the best interests of the US population-base at heart.
Obama probably made a point of being seen with the book in hand. Obama dresses very well and has excellent publicity advisors. It does not seem by chance that Obama let himself be photographed with this book in hand.
Is there a picture anywhere of Obama holding the Bible?
Barak Hussein Obama President of the USA is in alignment with nasty elements detrimental to Israel and Israelites. Obama is surrounded by sinister figures and his background indicates links to gangsters, terrorists, and anti-American anti-Jewish racialist maniacs.
3. Troy Bryant: The British Royal Family and Promises to David.
From: Troy Bryant <troybryant@hotmail.com>
Hi I have been reading some other sources on this subject. I was curious if
you have read the booklet United States and Britain in Prophecy by Herbert
W. Armstrong? I have attached it for your reading pleasure. Please send me
comments if you have time.
Armstrong brings out some interesting items in chapter 5 and 6 regarding the
promise of someone setting on the throne forever, therefore the throne must
exist today.
AV Jer 33:17 . For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit
upon the throne of the house of Israel;
AV 2Sa 7:13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will establish the
throne of his kingdom forever.
Brit-Am Reply:
We have studied and written on this subject extensively.
See:
Kings
Extract:
The Israelite nations were to be ruled by kings. They were to comprise several nations and kings would reign over at least a portion of these nations.
The only group of nations in the world that are related to each other and do have monarchs reigning over most of them is that group of Western Nations that Brit-Am identifies as comprising a significant proportion of descendants of the Lost Ten tribes of Israel.
Sons of David as Rulers
Extracts:
DAVID had numerous sons... numerous offspring on the male side must have belonged to the House of David. Descent through the male is what Scripture, strictly speaking, requires in order for the descendants to call themselves by the House of their (male) ancestor even though, in Jewish Law, anyone borne of a Jewish mother is considered Jewish. The House of David reigned in Judah and quite a few families amongst the present day Jews trace themselves back to David.... An Aramaic inscription mentions a "House of David" somehow in connection with Dan in the Galilee. There was a Judaean entity known as Yadi in southeast Turkey... maybe represented a minor branch of the House of David. Yadi disappeared together with the northern Ten Tribed Kingdom of Israel.
Part of the Lost Ten Tribes became known as the Sakae or Scythians. The Sacae-Scythians once had an independent kingdom named "Sakastan" in eastern Iran. The ruling dynasty of Sakastan believed itself descended from King Solomon the son of David. In Iberia (Georgia in the Caucasus in southern Russia)... a dynasty (related to the Arsacid Kings of Parthia) that traced itself back to David. The ruling houses (of David) of the Sakae-Scythians in Sakastan and Scythia were interrelated and had familial connections with the monarchs of the Guti (Goths) and Parthians and they with each other. From these monarchic and aristocratic lines came the early kings of Scandinavia, of the Franks, and of the Anglo-Saxons.
Another fount of the Davidic line may have penetrated West European nobility via France! ... a Jewish Prince of the House of David whose offspring intermarried with the aristocracy and Royal Line of France and these with that of Normandy, Scotland, and England. Amongst the Welsh, Scottish, English, and other groups in Europe there were families who believed they descended from King David of Judah.
There is a strong tradition that Tea Tephi a princess of the House of David came to Ireland, married a prince of the line of Nial and from this union emerged the monarchs of Scotland and later of all Britain.
Genealogists believe that many Presidents of the USA belong to British and Irish Royal lines.
The astronomer Galileo's father wrote a book in 1581 in which he explained that the Irish attachment to the harp was traced by the Irish to their descent from King David.
It may be that many of the Rulers over the exiled Israelites and those who ministered to them in Britain, America, and elsewhere are (and were) descended from the House of David.
a. The literal application of Jeremiah 33:26 is that amongst the rulers of Israel there would have to be at least some descendants of David.
b. We have reasonable proof that amongst some of the ruling bodies of certain nations in the west there are descendants of David.
c. If one was searching for nations descended from Israel it would be reasonable to look at those nations amongst whose ruling elites descendants of David were present.
The Divine Promises to David: Were they Unconditional?
Extract:
Despite the Promise to the descendants of David being on condition of their behavior it would seem that some degree of unconditionality also exists.
We have shown elsewhere that descendants of David as well as continuing to be found amongst certain Jewish families ALSO attached themselves to the Lost Ten Tribes.
The probability exists that many of the historical leaders and perhaps also the monarchs of the Lost Ten Tribes in Exile were indeed descendants of King David.
