1. No Offence Intended. Apology to Someone who asked a Question.
Recently we answered a question in a way that was considered offensive by the person receiving the answer. We genuinely did not intent to offend.
Below is our answer. We are posting it (without mentioning the identity of the person concerning) in case others were, or have been, displeased by our tone at some time or other.
Shalom,
(1) No offence was meant.
In this life you there are liable to be times when one is offended deliberately more often than could be wished for. It is therefore not necessary to find offence where none was intended.
Personally there were times in my life where I needed to learn things from others. In many ways I am a slow starter but often catch up later and even sometimes shoot ahead. In the initial stages there were those who related to me as some kind of retard. My philosophy has been that as long as one is learning and progressing some negativity may be tolerated.
[In your particular case no negativity was intended. When we write answers to individuals we usually also post them to our list. The answers may be written with readers of the list in mind as well as the individual receiving the answer.]
(2) If you are seeking information on Biblical Subjects and/or concerning the Lost Ten Tribes you will find it with us.
We put a lot of time and effort into this (and still do) and Divine Providence enabled us to find the answers in certain fields. This does not mean we are intrinsically better than others only that we have the task of spreading knowledge in certain fields.
We will also in most cases answer your questions.
On the whole we are civil and polite. In fact we are known for having a positive disposition and considerate attitude. It may be however that here and there we are caught on the wrong foot, at the wrong time, or that we are simply misunderstood.
If you were offended it was not intended and we apologize,
God bless you
Yair

3. Reply to Remark Concerning Money, Talmud, and Kabbalah

Re Brit-Am Appeal and Self-Appraisal
Sorry boss, I'm too broke right now. Saving up to get to Israel. I wonder, do you agree that the Torah is the only truth? Because it seems to me, and I hope you dont think me blasphemous, that if we trust the Kaballah or the Talmud, we could easily fall into the same trap as the christians and muslims, in that its not in hebrew, and it may be made up. Because the law is the law right, and we shouldnt water it down.

Brit-Am Reply:
Shalom,
No need to feel bad about not sending us any money or make excuses, Michael. Most people do not and the answer to our Latest Appeal made this very evident.
Concerning the Talmud and Kabbalah, it is not clear what you are referring to. These subjects both (along with other ones) come under the heading of Rabbinical Sources.
Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations is about proving where the Ten Tribes are.
We use Biblical Proof as well as secular evidence.
We also use Rabbinical Sources BUT even then we usually use them to help understand the meaning of the Hebrew text, or to confirm their applicability to the Ten Tribes,
or something along those lines.
At the personal level Yair Davidiy believes in the Bible, and the Talmud, and the Kabbalah. That does not mean he understands it all. Nor does he expect others to do so. We manage to keep a distinction in place enabling non-Jewish descendants of Israel to benefit from Rabbinical Evidence concerning the Ten Tribes without compromising their own convictions. We should be congratulated. We deserve a reward. I think it might be a worthy gesture on your part to loosen up a bit and out of the hundreds of pennies or thousands of dollars (as the case may be) you set aside for your Israel trip, you could also think of us.
In case you have not yet caught on yet, Michael, we do not really expect you to send us anything, anyway, but others might.
Have a good trip.
God bless you
Yair
