Zechariah 9:13-14 has been understood (Commentary of Malbim) as saying that the Children of Ephraim shall defeat the hosts of Gog and Magog and will gather in the outcasts from the Ten Tribes.
This too is linked with rebuilding the Temple.
Zechariah 9:
13 For I will bend Judah as My bow,
I will fill the bow with Ephraim.
And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece;
And I will make you like a warrior's sword.
14 Then the Lord will appear over them,
And His arrow will go forth like lightning;
And the Lord God will blow the SHOFAR,
And will march in the storm winds of Teman.

There is a similar scenario in Ovadiah 1, 18: "Then, the House of Jacob will be fire, The House of Joseph a flame, and the House of Esaw will be straw." Therefore the descendent of Yosef, Ephraim have a specially character and disposition to fight for the right, we see it from the early beginning: - Yaacov only felt safe (to go home and meet Esav) after Yosef was born - Yosef was the only child who stood before his mother in the time they met Esav. - we can say he was naive to tell his dreams, but he felt the truth, unfortunately this has led to his isolation by his brothers - his task as a Hebrew slave was only to explain the dream before Pharaoh, but he didn't stopp with this, he told Pharaoh what he had to do and he set his life at risk. - Yosef did not take revenge on his brothers - Yehoshua was the first Leader after Moshe and had to fight many wars - The war and war machines from Ephraim will become obsolete : "I will remove the chariots from Ephraim and all horses from Jerusalem. -- Zechariah 9.10." Therefor it is very important for Ephraim to awake, to understand, what is going on. Ishmael and Edom know this very well.

christian gentiles or that they are Jews.

The Hebrew Language Origins of English: "when"
Some Recent Notes.
Extract:
English is a composite language. Angles, Saxons, Jutes, and others speaking Germanic-type dialects conquered England from peoples of Celtic culture.
Then came the Vikings from Scandinavia who settled in the north. After that the Normans, who were also of Scandinavian origin but spoke French, imposed their own language.
Over the centuries numerous foreign words were adopted and new ones invented. Scholars who had learnt Latin and Greek applied their erudition to the mix.
The English Language evolved. It has more than one source. It is still developing.
Nevertheless there is a strong Hebrew element in English.
A lot of words, and other characteristics of the English Language show a parallelism to Hebrew.
Some of the Hebraisms in question may be traced to Anglo-Saxon German, some to French, some to Latin, some to elsewhere.
The overall result is to make English more Hebrew than the sources themselves are even though the Hebrew features are said to come from them!
Do languages have "souls"? Does English have a Hebrew "spirit" beating somewhere within?
In this case we may let others provide the explanations.
We can describe the phenomenon, in part.
