This [Ben White] is yet another self-opinionated liberal with too much to say about what
he doesn't understand, too much time to say it, and not enough sense (or
even-handedness) to search out the facts.

Israel-Palestine conflict: Israeli Apartheid: A Beginner's Guide and
Palestinians in Israel: Segregation, Discrimination and Democracy.'Â So no
agenda then?Â
And what about 'Democracy' in Arab countries? Or freedom of religion? Or
women's rights? Whereas these (and other freedoms) are all guaranteed in
the State of Israel. But remember too that these freedoms (as in any
democracy) do not come with a carte blanche to throw rocks and Molotov
cocktails at police/soldiers, launch rockets from bathroom windows, stab
people waiting for a bus, or drive a car loaded with explosives into a
crowded precinct. Indeed how do 'ISIS' treat those who disagree?
Also, in the same Wiki article: 'Marcus Dysch in The Jewish Chronicle has
called White an "anti-Israel campaigner", and Jonny Paul, in The Jerusalem
Post, called him an "anti-Israel activist".'Â
White was involved in 'Israel Apartheid Week' back in 2014. Apparently, IAW
was/is 'aimed at raising awareness about Israel's continuing subjugation of
Palestinian people'. Funny that. As you know, I was in Israel last year,
and indeed met with you. I met a lot of Israeli Arabs going about their
daily business - some even had smiles on their faces. I didn't see too many
'subjugated Palestinians', even in Bethlehem (also Palestinian-Authority
controlled, for those not familiar with the geography). I guess I must have
been there in the 'wrong week'!
Indeed we visited Jordan the following week. We met some very nice
Jordanian Arabs, and didn't come across any anti-Israeli sentiment there
either -- or indeed much Palestinian activism. Locals were more annoyed
with the economy, the Syrian refugees costing them money, and the Iraqi
'refugees' who have enough money to drive around in limousines and live in
penthouses. But of course you don't hear that on the BBC, CNN -- or from
the likes of White. Then again people forget that the late King Hussein
fought with and expelled the Palestinians from Jordan in 1970. Oops!
I don't get a lot of time to contribute these days. But keep up the good
work and the faith, Yair. Right, and the LORD God of Israel, are on your
side. Treat the likes of White with the ill-informed contempt he deserves
and ignore him.

Shalom again Yair, very well answered. We from the lost ten tribes in South Africa are truly living in exile. Our children cannot find work because we are white, despite the fact that they have Engineering qualifications. We have never had it this bad, since our money is worth R21 to 1 pound or R15 to a Dollar because of those running the place into the ground.
