Yair Davidy, why are all Israelites called Jews by so many? I hear this a lot, but do not understand why. "Jews," to my understanding, is only meant to refer to the Tribe of Judah

The Jews are the only Israelites who keep the Law and as such are recognizable as Israelites. All the other Israelites are not aware of their Israelite ancestry and do not identify as Israelite.
