The Tribe of Dan had good and bad qualities. The lion and the snake are both symbols of Dan. Samson, the super-strong Judge of Ancient Israel, was from the Tribe of Dan and he epitomizes Dan. The Tribe of Dan on the one hand had an inclination to idolatry and immorality. Apart from that however Dan had good qualities. The Tribe of Dan were honest and had a sense of propriety and were careful with the property of others. They were also known for being willing to physically heal and spiritually rehabilitate other Israelites who had fallen on hard times. In the End Times the Tribe of Dan will help in the Redemption of Israel.
