In our first draft of an answer to the question:

We said:
Winston Churchill took the opposite stance and vehemently criticized the White Paper. King George-vi however supported it and wrote that he was 'glad to think that steps are being taken to prevent these people leaving their country of origin.' King George also advised Foreign Secretary Lord Halifax to ensure German co-operation on the matter. The British Ambassador to Germany was told to encourage the German government 'to check the unauthorized emigration of Jews.'

After the Answer had already received 700 view we realized something was wrong.
We have since removed this statement from the article, and added the following:

In our first draft of this answer we published material representing King George-vi in a negative light. We have since realized that the quoted allegations are false.

The article "The Nasty King's Speech" appears to be untrue in substance. Please give a referential source for the claim concerning the message of the King about the Jews. I relied on your article and quoted it in an essay on Quora. Now it seems it was based on an invention. You have been misled. Please quote a source or retract your unsubstantiated allegation.
