The population of Norway is to some degree descended from the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. This is proven by its location, history, and characteristics. Norway was populated in part by a people named Naphtali and Guni, a son of Naphtali. Naphtali in the Land of Israel was occupied with fishing in the Sea of Galilee and by farming. The Norwegians for centuries did the same. The name Naphtali in Hebrew may be literally understood to connote, "Petroleum-of-my-God" [NeFT-Eli] and today Naphtali benefits greatly from vast offshore petroleum resources. It was prophesied that Naphtali would be socially progressive and this is what the Norwegians are.

The Israelite Tribe of Naphtali settled in Norway. Characteristics of Naphtali are found among the Norwegians. Naphtali was full-brother of Dan, both being the sons of Bilhah, maidservant of Rachel the wife of Jacob. The Norwegians (from Naphtali) and the Danes (from Dan) have always been closely associated with each other. The Bioble indicates that Naphtali would be conscious of feminine realities. Norway (with Iceland) is the most advanced country in the world concerning the participation of women within society. See:

Naphtali was the most northern of the ancient tribes of Israel. Norway, I believe is the most northern of the European countries,apart from Iceland which is of Norwegian descent. Gad(Sweden) and Reuben(France) were among the most eastern tribes of ancient Israel. Sweden and France are the most eastern of the countries descending from the lost tribes. Gad was north of Reuben. Sweden is north of France.
Many noted mathematicians were from Norway: Neils Henrik Abel,Axel Thue,Thoralf Skolem,Atle Selberg and Oystein Ore. The famous playwright Henrik Ibsen was Norwegian.Also, the musical composer Grieg. Ludwig Wittgenstein who was of Jewish-Austrian background spent a lot of time in Norway where he developed his ideas on logic. The Vikings referred to the outer Hebrides as Sudreyar pronounced, i think, as Soo-der-eye-yar "southern island realm". Many of the place names in the Outer Hebrides are of Norse descent such as "South Uist";"Uist" is pronounced "Yew-ist"-it is a Norwegian name not Gaelic. Some of the Gaelic clans have Norse ancestry. For example, the Morrisons of Lewis descend from a Viking "Olaf the Black" who lived at Castle Eyestein-not Einstein:). Growing up I heard about Gaelic ancestry,but never about Norwegian (from the outer Hebrides).Norwegian-Gaelic relations had some dark moments about 700 years ago when the Vikings massacred some of the Gaels. I never heard about this until I studied the history of the region...but it was 700 years ago...

When I think of the Danes & Dan, or now the Norwegians & Nephtali - I can't help but think of the parallels between the tales of the "viking berserkers" & the Canaanite (or Phonecian) giants - I mean, weren't the Isrealites led into captivity & sent into exile for worshipping golden cows, & doing like the heathens/pagans? The vikings were, well, heathens/pagans... Were they the red haired, six digit per limb giants (jotuun) spoken of in scripture?
