The different Jewish Communities were all (apart from 'Beta Israel' in Ethiopia) well aware of each other, visited one another, and settled in another's areas. Proof of this in found in historical records, memoires, and family traditions. When I came to Israel more than 50 years ago I learnt for a while in Yeshivah Shelavim on Kibbutz Shelavim near Ramleh. I did not know Hebrew very well and was new at learning so one of the more learned Israeli students volunteered to help me. He was one of several like that. Anyway this particular student was from a Moroccan Jewish family and he looked it, being quite handsome and distinguished. He later became a well-known Rabbi and a prominent settlement activist, and passed away recently. His name was 'Tsion Weissman.' I once asked him since he is a Moroccan Jew where did the name 'Weissman' come from? He explained that some while ago (ca. 200 years) there was an Ashkenazi Jew in Jerusalem who was sent to collect money for his Yeshivah. He came to Morocco, ended up getting married, and stayed there. That is why 'Weissman' among Moroccan Jews is today a fairly well-known family name.

Another similar anecdote, but much more recent, came from a Tunisian Jew who had settled in France and then came to Israel. He bore an Ashkenazi family name. His grandfather had originally been in Poland. The wife of his grandfather was unable to bear children. He did not want to divorce her but he wanted offspring. So with the agreement of his wife the family moved to Tunisia which was then under French Rule and relatively civilized. In Tunisia polygamy was then legal and accepted by the local Jewish community. He took another wife and had children from her. The family continued in harmony. His first wife had a place of honor and was well-respected. They had children and children of the children now in both Israel and the Diaspora.

You are an old friend of mine and a veteran supporter of Brit-Am.
Nevertheless, you need to repent.
The time has come to regret your rejection of Rabbinical logic. They know what they are doing,
They were awake before we went to asleep.
They know what the Bible says and all their decisions regarding how the Bible should be put into practical effect have the sanction of the Almighty (Deuteronomy 17).
Even if they were wrong on some issues (and they are not) the Bible obliges us to listen to them.
Brit-Am has numerous article on this issue.
Please take them to heart more seriously.
They who deny the authority of the Rabbis to decide matters concerning the Law are denying the Bible itself.
The Lost Ten Tribes are not obligated  by the Law at present but in the future they will be.
Nevertheless, they should not invent a pseudo-Law of their own.

I have not got an Arab village but who knows? When the Messiah comes I might well get one, might I not? Before you start asking about the Arab names that may, or may not, have existed before the Jewish ones take note of what the names were prior to becoming Arab! Nearly all pre-1948 Arab settlements in what was then ' Palestine' of the Mandate had once been Jewish. The Israelites had been that majority element in the area from before 1200 BCE. The Arabs were newcomers. Even under the Mandate Foreign Secretary Winston Churchill once noted that illegal immigrants from Arabs areas outnumbered Jewish ones from other places by three to one! # Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, Israel's second president, was a scholar who wrote the book The Peoples of Our Land in 1932. In the book he stated that west of the Jordan River, 277 villages and sites- almost two-thirds of all sites- had names that were similar to or the same as Jewish villages on the same sites during Second Temple times. Moreover, one-quarter of the 584 Arab localities in Israel and beyond the Green Line have ancient Biblical names. For example, Sakhnin was a Jewish town during the Talmudic era, and Beit Lehem is the Hebrew name for the biblical city of Bethlehem.

Even towns whose names were really Arabis and not just Arabix Rtranslations of Hebrews one are also almost invariably of Israelite origins.

Al-Khalil for instance is the Arab name for Hebron but Hebron is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible (by my own count) at least 41 times!

# Beit Jalla is the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo, Jenin was Ein Ganim, Silwan was Shiloach, Selum was Shilo (one of the first capitals of ancient Israel), Tequa is Tekoa (the Prophet Amos's hometown), Anata was Anatot (the Prophet Jeremiah's hometown), Batir was Beitar, Beitin was Beit El (as named by Jacob himself), Jaba was Geva, Mukhmas is Michmash (King Saul's fortress), and El-Jib was Giveon (where the sun stood still). #

My present non-Arab village in which I reside stands on vacant land. Most of the West Bank is still vacant. Much of Syria is also vacant. A good portion of the local Sunni Arabs left it recently. There were millions of them who were driven out by Alawi Arabs and Shiite ones. More than 5 million of them were forced to flee to to Turkey, and to parts of Europe. This happened in 2011. Not that lone ago. Did you even know about that. Would you care if you did?

The Jews and Israel were not involved in the events in Syria so the world does not care. No need to feel anxious or go to the trouble of demonstrating.

#14. Rabbi Menasseh ben Israel
Rabbi Menasseh ben Israel, 1604-1657, understood for different reasons that the Lost Ten Tribes in his time were to be found in America, and elsew
here. Concerning America, he was mistaken. The Lost Ten Tribes were to reach North America much later. They are there now. Nevertheless, the Biblical Verses Menasseh used to support his claim are valid. They do refer to the Lost Ten Tribes. And they do indicate the Lost Ten Tribes would be in America as well as in other places.

Manasseh says that Isaiah 60:9 may be understood to refer to the West Indies because it lies in the midst of the Ocean and has many islands.

Jeremiah (NKJV) 31:
10 HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD, O NATIONS,
AND DECLARE IT IN THE ISLES AFAR OFF, AND SAY,
"HE WHO SCATTERED ISRAEL WILL GATHER HIM,
AND KEEP HIM AS A SHEPHERD DOES HIS FLOCK."

Manassseh quotes:

Psalms 97:
1 THE LORD REIGNS;
LET THE EARTH REJOICE;
LET THE MULTITUDE OF ISLES BE GLAD

to which he comments:
# Where part of the Ten Tribes do dwell unknown unto this day.

Menasseh explains "Islands" to be some place in the Atlantic Ocean. By the same token the British Isles and Ireland could also be intended.

Isaiah (JPS Tanakh 1917) 60:
9 SURELY THE ISLES SHALL WAIT FOR ME, AND THE SHIPS OF TARSHISH FIRST, TO BRING THY SONS FROM FAR, THEIR SILVER AND THEIR GOLD WITH THEM, FOR THE NAME OF THE LORD THY GOD, AND FOR THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, BECAUSE HE HATH GLORIFIED THEE.

Isaiah 11:
11 It shall come to pass in that day
That the LORD shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,
From Assyria and Egypt,
From Pathros and Cush,
From Elam and Shinar,
From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

Menesseh says:
# ....The Islands of the Sea, so most translate it; but I think it is to be rendered The Islands of the West, for ("YAM") in Holy Scripture signifies "The West," as in Genesis 28:14, and in many other places; and upon this account those Israelites are implied, who are westward from the Holy Land, among whom the Americans are.

#15. Rabbinical Etymology.
Another way in which Rabbinical sources corroborate Brit-Am findings is through Commentaries and explanations of Hebrew Names.
For instance, Rabbi Shimshon Rafael Hirsch (1808-1888) explained the name "Menessah" (son of Joseph) to connote "Responsible Representation" which is the foundation of the US Constitution.  Machir the first born son of Manasseh and his offshootsd "He-Machiri" in Medieval Latin became the name "Americo" and America was named after Americo Vespucci.
